Shane Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 Heres the 100 the other innings I was talking about it was only 40, but a good one http://indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=845747&postcount=108 Yup, the knock in the semis was classier with more proper cricket shots.
Sachinism Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 The_Outsider and Mr_Wicket keep away from this, it may result in self-harm This year in South Africa, Manish Pandey became the first Indian player to score a century in the IPL. He is nowhere in the ‘national’ reckoning. But in a recent interview he glibly explained how he has attained celebrity status due to that century -- and proudly stated how he now wears tight shirts with buttons open, low-waist jeans, and spikes his hair. http://www.hindustantimes.com/editorial-views-on/columnsothers/Stumped-stars/Article1-462390.aspx :yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes: What a ****, someone give him a slap
satishg Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 hehe looks like his priorities are at the right place. Some want to achieve more and more in cricket and some enjoy the limelight so it depends on what the individual wants.

urbestfriend Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Congratulations to 'Cowlasher' for scoring most runs in 2009/10 Ranji season. :omg: If cow lashing yields more runs and more consistency than any technically correct batting,I prefer cowlashing any day B-> Cowlasher Pandey is the highest run scorer this Ranji season with 882 runs :hatsoff:
Holysmoke Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 :omg: If cow lashing yields more runs and more consistency than any technically correct batting,I prefer cowlashing any day B-> Dravid > Cowlasher. :eyedance:

ViruRulez Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Manish Pandey has come of age I had trusted the abilities of Manish Pandey ever since he made the maiden century by an Indian on IPL. But there were most people on this board who were saying that he was a cowlasher, lucky slogger etc. I said that he played proper cricketing shots in that century and even better in the 40 runs in the next match. But most ICFers where were adamant that he was just a fluke a nothing else. But he has proved me right. He has turned out to be the highest scorer in his first Ranji season itself. He has scored 882 runs including 4 centuries in this Ranji season. He also scored at a brisk pace and his overall S/R of 80 in these tests. He was also brilliant in the field and his catch was also the best catch of this Ranji season. The so called cowlasher has come of age and another youngster rises to the occasion. Hats off to Pandey and thanks for proving me and other supporters right.
