The problem with Mithun is he doesn't brace his knee during delivery. Thats the onoy fault in his action really..his use of the non-bowling arm is excellent. As we all know that is quite rare in India. Bracing his knee during delivery should add some pace to his bowling.

Actually Saw mithun bowl in the ranji final.My First impression he looks good.His big build and ability to make batsmen fend makes him really interesting .There is also intent to take wickets that is where his distinctive from VRV.But where is speed .i could see that coming.Ajit agarkar was quickest bowler in the final by long way and could not buy theory that speedgun is faulty then how come ajit efforts registerd past 140 kms.But mithun at times bowled between 76 to 78 miles per hour
