goose
The only reason Sehwag is getting so much stick by so many over what he said is because everyone knows he's right. Link to comment

Zap_Brannigan
He is right.. BD has 0 victories against the good sides. Barring the games against Zim and WI, they have lost every single "full" games. Not drawn, but lost........most of them by an innings. Weather helped them draw a game each against India and NZ. Infact, i believe, abysmal would have been a more suitable word to describe them. Kinda like how we describe our Olympics team. Is someone gonna get pissed if US calls India Olympic squad ordinary? That would be a compliment. Link to comment
jaideep
thes test is destined for a draw...rain expected on the 3rd day...and fog as usual on the 4th and 5th days...rumor has it that dhaka is going to be even worse...series is destined to be 0-0 unless on e team really plays mindless and downright rubbish cricket Link to comment
fineleg
Why does he have to praise the opponents when they are not worthy of any praise ? . blue, He does not have to "praise" them. But he needs to be a little bit more diplomatic. As a captain and experienced player, a bit of diplomacy is a must in press conf. Link to comment

Sakib so bluntly said India doesn't deserve to be No 1, he might be responding to sehwag but he still said it , so why have dual standards when it comes to diplomacy either both are idiots or neither is. King
You have to respect the opponent but Sehwag has a point. This is not something that only Sehwag has said, there has been even worse mentions about Bangladesh as a test team. Imagine if India had went on to score a lot of runs like usual and won the test hands down... the same reporters would be gloating about Sehwag. It goes both ways really. It's not nice for Bangladesh to hear what Sehwag said but sadly it is a fact. It is not like Warne and McGrath running down English cricket. We all know the capability of Bangladesh in test cricket. If they can turn tables, it's well and good. Link to comment

Not just the fans but also the players. Only way they can stop hearing such remarks is by performing consistently and winning matches not winning sessions. Even the weakest of the weakest team in the world can have good sessions when the opponents make a few mistakes. Just send the same Bangladesh team to indian domestic cricket plate division (not even elite division). I bet 100% they will not make it to plate finals. Because there won't be any complacency form opposition teams as well. Link to comment
