Rahim said that the Indian bolwers taunted him during his century knock on the fifth day of the first Test match. "The Indian bowlers picked me for sledging when I was batting well. They called me a school boy. But I was enjoying it and I had answered it with my bat," Mushfiqur, who scored a 114-ball 101, said at the post-match press conference, after his side lost to India by 113 runs to go down 0-1 in the two-match Test series. Sehwag, who was jeered by the spectators at the post-match presentation apparently for calling Bangladesh an "ordinary" side, however, refused to comment when asked about Mushfiqur's charge. "I can't do (say) anything about that (Mushfiqur's charge)," Sehwag retorted without blinking an eyelid. Mushfiqur also said that South Africa and Australia are better sides than India, a view similar to that of his captain Shakib Al Hasan. Asked what was India's strength Mushfiqur said, "Definitely batting. They have a strong batting line-up which is much better than their bowling. But Australia and South Africa are better sides than India." "Their (India's) bowling was good in patches. Sometimes they bowled well but other times they were bowling bad," added the Bangladeshi stumper who notched up his maiden century on Thursday, which was also the fastest ton by a Bangladeshi batsmen. He said if Bangladesh's top-order batsmen had not thrown their wickets in a hurry, his side could have gone for a win or at least a draw. "The top order did not do well but we can improve in the next match. We bowled well in the match. Shakib (the captain) is our main bowler and he did really well in the match. I hope we can do better in the next match," he said. . http://www.espnstar.com/cricket/international-cricket/news/detail/item383454/%22Indians-taunted-me-as-'school-boy'%22/

He is really a schoolboy. He does not even have anything innovative. He just repeated the same thing his captain said the other day. Maybe Shakib is making him by-heart that line. :hehe:
Really. But it's sometimes fun to watch the Bangladeshis try to play the mind game.:phehehe:

why is the world so skeptical about India being No.1 in test cricket. Please accept the fact the we are Number One in the ICC Rankings and yeah we have the best batting side in the world. And Bangladesh if you want to talk the big talk then please show that on the field. Just close your mouth and beat us in the cricket field. I tired of people saying Australia and South Africa are the best test side. Can some body please give India the credit they deserve.

BD won't qualify to play even in the Ranji Trophy Plate league :cantstop:
Actully their national team did play as the 6th team in DUleep trophy some years back. They lost both their matches and after that the BCB never sent its team for Duleep trophy fearing that such losses to zonal sides in India could undermine their test status. In anycase, Bangbros are saying all this just to get even with sehwag's comment on their team. It wont do any harm to anyone if Sehwag comes to his press conference and says BD have improved their bowling and seem to put up a good fight these days. A few words of encouragement would sooth the raging anger in BD on Sehwag.

Frankly it is getting old. It is very hard to comment on these guys. Let us just ignore these lil kids. Oflate there is lot of talk coming from bottom ranked teams. West Indies, Bangladesh. To be fair the press asked the kind of questions that will get these kind of answers. Best any Indian player can do is by retorting Zimbabwe and Ireland are better than Bangladesh lol. That is plain silly. It is pretty pointless to react to these guys.
