achilles Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 he has pace and bounce' date='today he did not bowl that well, but t20 should not be taken into acc to judge a bowler,Jaydev has it in him to play for india,he can reach 138 or so,I feel by 2011 he must gain a bit of pace which is not impossible as this is the time 19-21 years...when a pacer gets his speed...fingers crossed!!!also Umesh is a superb find[/quote'] What was his speed today? :hmmm:
achilles Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Oh. Thats a good start. Hope he can touch 140+, like everyone says he can. Will be a nice find for us:two_thumbs_up:
msb1991 Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 More like 128kph, from what I have seen on the highlights. Got a good action though.
kooljatt Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 , he is a good prospect as well , hope to see him getting bit more quicker in next 2 years
SJS50 Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Future fast bowler ? Based on twenty-20 cricket? Remember Manpreet Gony ?
achilles Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Future fast bowler ? Based on twenty-20 cricket? Remember Manpreet Gony ? Current age 26 years 91 days  :hatsoff:
Malcolm Merlyn Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Future fast bowler ? Based on twenty-20 cricket? Remember Manpreet Gony ? well we saw Unadkat in u-19 world cup......so....
SJS50 Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Well I did not see that so no comment but T-20 does reduce the gap between the top most cricketers and the more modest ones. The nature of the format is such. ODI, does the same to an extent and the shortest format takes it further. Many of those who perform well in ODI's are not good enough for Test level and it gets worse with T-20. Hence my comment about Gony. Its not just him there were so many others that the electronic media and the vast majority of the cricketing public in India specially, which takes most of its cues from the same media, started talking of young Indian cricketers who were brought to limelight by IPL and were the stars for the future. So many of them have fallen by the side since then as far as consideration for the highest level is concerned.
Sachinism Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 ^^ Most of us saw him during the U-19 WC and he was pretty pacey. After that he played a bit of domestic cricket, put in a few decent performances. But since the WC this was the first opportunity to see him in action again

Sharma seemed to be a pretty solid strike bowler and the leftie really moved the ball, though he was pretty slow.
Dravid Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 this daredevils player has potential http://www.cricinfo.com/ipl2010/content/player/376116.html is around 140ss, and only 22
Ahmed Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Lols, is this the guy who is bowling for KKR right now? He is hardly hitting 122 km/h. Another Indian spinner :hysterical:
vvvslaxman Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Lols, is this the guy who is bowling for KKR right now? He is hardly hitting 122 km/h. Another Indian spinner :hysterical: I have seen Mohammad Asif rarely crossing 130 km/h. What is your point. He is an off spinner right? :winky:
saneindian Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Lols, is this the guy who is bowling for KKR right now? He is hardly hitting 122 km/h. Another Indian spinner :hysterical: LOL I am assuming you are a Pakistani and like all your mates, following IPL very closely. So you must have watched him hit 137-138 in the last match but ignored it. And if you understand a bit of cricket, then ever heard a term called "slower ball". Probably you haven't.
achilles Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Lols, is this the guy who is bowling for KKR right now? He is hardly hitting 122 km/h. Another Indian spinner :hysterical: Tell me one batsman in your country who is half as good as Sachin Tendulkar. And why do you watch IPL after you guys said that you would "boycott IPL coz India insulted you aur hum Hinduo jaat hi aisi hai"?

Irfan pathan is 10 times better than any current Pakistan batsman.
