vvvslaxman Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 I wish Flintoff still play. He would sledge these guys. As usual they will play some dumb shots and get out.
patriot Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 I wish Flintoff still play. He would sledge these guys. As usual they will play some dumb shots and get out. LOL. He is 1.5 feet taller than most of them. He doesn't even need to open his mouth. Even a stare would do. :hysterical:
vvvslaxman Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 I think they should stipulate conditions after some time. If you don't manage a draw in this series without help of rain we will not play for next 5 years. If every team makes a threat like this probably they won't play these stupid shots. I can concede they can't win tests against Australia, SA, India, England.. but atleast draw tests against New zealand. But there is one team that BD can even beat now. That is Pakistan :hysterical:. If they somehow get Pakistan to play with them they will have a realistic chance.
Pak_Forever Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 There is actually a realistic chance of beating England. Bangladesh with young talented bunch has shown great fighting spirit and has been improving for last couple of months. England isn't great in sub-continent condition so I predict at least 1 win for Bangla tigers. :two_thumbs_up:
ensd2 Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 BD cannot stretch anyone until and unless they realize that Mohammad Ashraful is crap and needs to be gotten rid of. They should play Mahmudullah at number 5 and Shakib should bat at number 4. Give some other batsman a chance and drop Ashraful for god's sake! you are right I think BD can't win or draw a test with useless street cricketer like "ahrafool and aftab " But they have some good cricketers specially Shakib al Hasan and Mahmullah
Zero_Unit Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 looking at the current performance in NZ, might pull a draw but a win ... not to sure about that. BTW is it just me or did anyone realise that test cricket in general has tarnished ... i mean First SA wins by a series then India win by a series ... asutralia killed the pakis and Bangla started to take test to the 5th day ... IF YOU ASK ME ... TEST IS NOT THE SAME TEST WE USED TO SEE IN THE OLD DAYS

Even though the last Ind-SA test was one-sided, it still went into the last day and upto the penultimate over of the match. There's nothing more exciting than watching a team get wickets on the last day of a match and the opposition trying to hold on to a draw.
Texan Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 Kieswetter in England team as soon as he qualified to play for England just proves that England is incapable of producing good batsmen and the only way they can put a decent batting line-up is by borrowing from SA. What a pity! The game's inventors have become the game's biggest joke!
donkey Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 Threat title should be, "Can Bangladesh take 20 England wickets at home?" :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Dravid Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 Are you seriously putting hope on BANGLADESH?? Thats hella- messed up then me backing KP. :hahaha: England will win everything on this tour..
vvvslaxman Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 If all 11 England players get food poisoned or something then BD will have 2% chance.
Texan Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 If all 11 England players get food poisoned or something then BD will have 2% chance. If all England players get food poisoned then they will call on South Africa A to play for them :--D

vvvslaxman Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 Many of you guys here are going to be eating your words. This is like shooting in the dark. Worst case for you is Bangladesh gets its ass kicked. :hysterical: You could conveniently disappear for that period and come back when the next BD match starts. Ans you will say the same thing. Your hope is your team might get lucky one day. When that day happens you can say "See i told you so" . Our predictions are based on logic, history. etc. YOur prediction is based blind patriotism.

Even if they lose all the games, what i wanna see is that if they are going in the correct direction or not and will compare this performance with previous series. This and the next series is going to show if this BD team are in transition phase from minnows to upper rank team or just going to be in a perennial state to losing. And perhaps its you who is blinded by Bangladesh's past sullen cricket history and is failing to see these new cricketers who are ready to step up. :hatsoff: ________ glass bongs

You guys should already be winning plenty of matches against top teams. If not Tests atleast ODis if not ODIs atleast T20s. If you continue to be a genuine minnow in all 3 formats how do you expect us to rate you guys? But you always get your knicker twisted when anybody under-rates you.
