Gambit Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 My all time favourite was Star News before NDTV broke away to establish their own channel. All the top guys like Roy, Sardesai and Dutt worked on it together and shows like Big Fight were extremely stimulating. NDTV does not have that feel now.
Predator_05 Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Re: Favourite news channel FOX NEWS baby Don't really like Indian news channels. Do they still show AAJ TAK on Star Plus at 9 pm ? Anyone remember Newstrack ? Now that was some quality journalism. What happened to it ?
Gambit Posted December 1, 2006 Author Posted December 1, 2006 Re: Favourite news channel Where have you been man? Aaj tak became a full fledged channel nearly 8 years ago! Newstrack was great. 80s stuff.
King Tendulkar Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Re: Favourite news channel Nothing beats the BBC news 24. Unbiased, impartial news, like only the BBC can do.
King Tendulkar Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Re: Favourite news channel Star news is just a joke. Awful
Predator_05 Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Re: Favourite news channel Nothing beats the BBC news 24. Unbiased' date=' impartial news, like only the BBC can do.[/quote'] haha, unbiased and impartial my @ss ! They have a vehemently anti-American agenda and are a mouth-piece for those far-left leaning liberal swine. BBC World are a disgrace.

Predator_05 Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Re: Favourite news channel Like it or not, FOX NEWS is proper, hard-hitting journalism ! Bill O'Reilly rules
yoda Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Re: Favourite news channel Like it or not, FOX NEWS is proper, hard-hitting journalism ! Bill O'Reilly rules Except the extreme right wing, no one likes fox news. It is a republican propaganda machine. Did you see Tony Snow seamlessly walking from fox news into the white house briefing room?
The Outsider Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Re: Favourite news channel FOX? Are you taking the piss, Predator? Its good for entertainment value occasionally but as a news reporting channel????
Predator_05 Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Re: Favourite news channel HAH, i didn't expect you hippies would like FOX NEWS anyway. Apparently, the biggest crime they have done is reporting from a uniquely pro-American perspective. Shows like the O'Reilly factor, Heartland and War Stories with Oliver North are top class. You can keep your sissy CNN's and ABC's - i'll stick to my FOX NEWS :wtg:
gator Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Re: Favourite news channel i watch all the 3 - msnbc, fox and cnn....if i have to go online, i like msnbc better....
King Tendulkar Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Re: Favourite news channel Like it or not, FOX NEWS is proper, hard-hitting journalism ! Bill O'Reilly rules My god and you accuse the BBC of bias :lmao: :lmao: Watching the yanks news channels are hysterical. Boy do they get behind the troops :lmao:
Guest dada_rocks Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Re: Favourite news channel Nothing beats the BBC news 24. Unbiased' date=' impartial news, like only the BBC can do.[/quote'] unbiased nes channle is the biggest oxymoron there ever was. It just doesn't exist yeah pretending to be unbiased is a possibility
King Tendulkar Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Re: Favourite news channel Okay the BBC is a lot less bias then any other channel. Reason is that it is not owned by any owner who implants at times his views and slants on the news agenda eg Murdoch news outlets foolow his poitical leanings. BBC is totally independent and thus reporters are totally independent in their views. If more of the journos are left leaning then so be it. That is more by chance then any agenda from up top. I also think they are not left leaning just neautral. But in contrast to many right wing media outlets this can seem lefty. When really they report news very fair
graphic23 Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Like it or not, FOX NEWS is proper, hard-hitting journalism ! Bill O'Reilly rules Very old thread, but I was looking for something else. But coming back to the topic, Sean Hannity is absolutely amazing. Fox News is the best one out there, I reckon.
hassan_113 Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 FOX NEWS baby Don't really like Indian news channels. Do they still show AAJ TAK on Star Plus at 9 pm ? Anyone remember Newstrack ? Now that was some quality journalism. What happened to it ? FOX (America if that's what you're talking about) is drivel!!
