Currently RR is below DC in terms of NRR, so difference must be made up between their win and DC's loss. Is that correct? Yeah...am assuming that since the difference is not much a RR win and DC loss will cover it.

I think all the matches have some kind of significance. Except for KXIP, all other still have a mathematical chance.
Holysmoke Posted April 17, 2010 Author Posted April 17, 2010 Most probably, RR wont win by a huuuuuuuuuuge margin(100 runs), and kolkata wont win their next 2 matches by huuuuuuuuge margins as well. That makes the two games tomorrow vital. If chennai lose tomorrow against punjab, they are out, as they wont even reach 14 points. In that scenario, if deccan loses against dilli, then rajasthan CAN make it if they win today, even if it is not by a big margin. If Chennai win tomorrow, then they go ahead of bangalore in the NRR table, pushing bangalore to third. Then whoever wins the next game (dilli vs deccan) will push off chennai from second and mumbai will then face bangalore in the semis.
