'Paki' is an offensive/racist word only in 1 country of the world - Britain where it is used for all South Asians and not just Pakistanis. It is a well accepted abbreviated term in all other places.

I fought there to my best to make sure those posters didn't say bad stuff about India. I fought tooth and nail to ensure that nobody said stuff which disrespected my nation, it's fans or it's players. No other Indian poster put the time and effort that I did. And you know what, I succeeded in making the mods warn a lot of posters who initially wrote filthy things about India. Which is why I feel like a hypocrite to keep watching filthy posts about them from our fans. And you misbehaving with them here for apparently no reason doesn't harm their reputation, instead it just shows your class and background. Anyone who followed PP will know first hand how hard I fought to give them the dose of reality. Even the wildest mad horse there aka Monsee refrains from doing things he did in the past, due to the doses he got from me. P.S. I deactivated my PP account at my own will due to disagreement with a certain Mod there, not that they permanently banned me because I violated their rules.

Really? You simply replied to his post? He said that his most joyous moment is when Miandad hit the SIX off the last ball in that famous match in the 80's. Did he mention something like India being knocked out of the 2007 World Cup as his joyous moment? No! He mentioned a moment when his team was victorious. You too could have mentioned India knocking out Pakistan out of the 2003 World Cup as your most joyous moment. Instead you retaliated with an absurd comment which doesn't even involve your team as your most joyous moment. And as for giving tit for tat, it's things like these which make Pak posters there on PP disrespect the Indian community of that site.

Sad moments 2003 WC Final. Went to watch the finals at my relatives house who had ordered the final on payperview. I was really excited to see it on the big screen. The only thing that went India's way in that match was Gangluly winning the toss but what followed afterwards was a dampener starting with Zaheer's first over and Tendulkar getting out in the first over against McGrath. Happy moments - a few good ones

• Natwest final : still remember following it on Cricinfo's IRC channel,
• 2001 Test series against Aussies
• T20 WC win: one of the best matches in terms of emotional swings. Still recall Ravi Shastri yelling "In the air". At this point I thought Misbah's scoop would go for a six or atleast a boundary but then Ravi followed it up with "... Sreesanth takes it... India Win !! I was totally surprised and relieved.
• CB series win
• Bowl out vs Pakistan in the league match in the t20wc 07
• Ind-Pak WC matches

Plenty of good moments in the past and most have been covered. One future moment of sadness that I live in fear of is Boss retiring from test cricket. It will never be the same after him. And the fact that VVS' date=RD and perhaps VS will retire withing the same timeperiod will make it that much worse :((

Ashes 05 Edgbaston win was probably the only time I have actually gone mad after a victory. I dont really get sad at cricket either, occasional anger like when Zimbabwe beat WI a few months ago.

Most Joyous - Sachin's 200*. I woke up right after Sachin scored that 200th run. I am still poking my self for missing that innings. None the less, I have watched that match over 30 times already but I still can't stop blaming my self for missing it. I am still celebrating that 200 as i watch it over and over again. I have almost memorized every shot and remember which one comes at what time. My excuse for missing the innings was that I was sick with 105 fever which kept my body from waking up early that day. I watched rest of the game in freezing cold weather outside of my engineering school because my dorm internet was down that morning. Saddest - Mumbai losing to Chennai in the IPL3 finals.
