The only issue I have with it is its luring every tom and jerry from all across the globe just b/c of $$$. They are valuing it ahead of their countries and now pretty much every board tries not to conflict their schedule with IPL (Badmash Cricket Council of India's influence). It runs for months and I will stick with it neither grabs interest nor it has much quality for outsiders.

There in comes the quality. When you lose 0-9 in a series nobody icares. But if you keep losing in IPL you are answerable to the owner of the franchise. F*** or walk situation for players. Unlike in international team where you can play for more than a decade with an average of 23 in ODIs and you cannot do that in IPL. Steyn bowled much faster in IPL than i saw him against India in the Test and ODI series. Fast bowling: Steyn, Malinga, Zaheer, Lee, Tait, Nannes, Bond, Bollinger to name a few Spin bowling: Murali, Warne, Kumble, Ojha, Mishra, Mendis, Vettori Batting : Tendulkar, Dhoni, Sanga, Mahela, Dilshan, Collingwood, Gayle, McCullum, Raina Sehwag, Gambhir, ABDV, Warner, Taylor, KP, White, Ganguly, Gilly, Haydos, Bravo, Pollard, Morgan...and many more Honestly tell me you wouldn't like such an array of international players playing in your country? County cricket & Big Bash are run by professionals and not by convicted criminals like Modi. IPL is being run on black money & match fixing is going on so Miandad is right about ICC atleast having their anti corruption unit to monitor it.

I couldn't care less about the IPL, simply because it's a showboating advertising fiesto, the viewing is just so poor because of the constant adverts that it puts me off watching the cricket altogether. The standard of bowling is so poor, mainly because the overseas players selected, usually only one is a bowler. As for this IPL mess, well it's an Indian tournament so the BCCI should have 80% of the say, but since there are so many overseas players and staff, the ICC has to also get a say. There are only two former players in South Asia who speak with sense regarding cricket and current issues, Miandad is certinaly not one of them. Why are most of the former asian players so stupid and media hungry? Miandad and Sarfaraz are right at the top of the list along with Navjot Siddhu. I only take note of what the great Imran Khan has to say from our former players, the rest are full of horse crap.

it is really funny when a Pakistan (Ranked 7th in ODI and Tests) fan comments about quality of Indian (No.1 rank in tests No.2 in ODIs.) domestic talents. Guys like Ashwin, Ojha, Mishra are far far better than the clowns (Afridi uncle, Ajmal uncle) you guys got.
