there is no bitterness' date='i already said that my team was out,so this was a neutral game for me.i am not saying it was fixed for sure, but there is strong possibility.i know u believe it but one of my neighbours who is a [b']small time sattebaaz told me that it was fixed n that Chennai is gonna win the IPLn this he told me BEFORE the 2nd innings of semifinal b/w DC n CSK.That CSK has won might just be a coincidence, but all these reports coming in,something is fishy somewhere for sure i can understand ur stand.if my team won n somebody said it was fixed,i would be angry as well.for the nth time i DO NOT want to take anything away from them, they played well
ow ok.. then it must be true..:hatsoff:

I think some people can't digest the fact that CSK won IPL 3. Get over it. CSK played well and won it. Don't tell me those two sixes which Dhoni hit against KXIP in the last over were also fixed. Even i don't like Modi. But i don't think its possible to fix matches when the whole world is watching you. @Non-CSK fans grapes are sour. :hehe:

sachin would never walk.. and he shouldnt.. cuz he cant stay when he is wrongly given out so he shouldnt walk when he is not given out... as simple as that..

Only confirming what I was saying in my probing thread entitled "Was the IPL final fixed?" only for it to be closed.
How does a rumour confirm another? :finger: And answering for the umpteenth time for the main reason you are shouting match fixing - Pollard sucks against quality spin. He wouldn't have lasted a over against Murali, Ashwin, and Jakati. The MI team management ofcourse knew his strengths and weaknesses. That's why he was held back till the spinners are exhausted. Get over it. Pollard is overrated/overhyped and he will be exposed like hell against good spin attacks very soon.

no take it as im not going to question his spin playing ability and derail a thread, if you want me to discuss then open a Kieron Pollard thread.

Not worth the space nor time!

btw usually when bookies are sure of something they give really poor odds' date=' why would these bookies make it obvious ?[/quote'] You can give long odds if you are sure as in South Africa versus Mauritius. How can you give long odds in Chennai versus Mumbai? Give long odds in such a closely matched (not to speak of Mumbai being favourites for many) face-up would have raised even more eyebrows. How could Chennai, for example, be like 10 to 1 favourites in that match. Give odds like that and it still stinks and of more than a dead rat.

so this confirms my worst fears.everybody knew the result beforehand.as i said the other day Chennai were chosen to win.
Everyone in the country knows the goverment and agencies are investigating into IPL and Modi. Each and every record, phone conversations and actions are being investigated and tracked. Yet, they still go ahead and fix the final knowing they will surely be caught? Must be the dumbest guys on earth.

This is what I read in the article :dontknow:

But when the Chennai team started making a bold comeback, the bookies were ordered by their bosses to stop accepting bets favouring a Chennai win.
