Where should Dhoni bat?

Going in to the WC, he's one of our inform batsman...ideally I would like to see him bat at no.3 or no.4 even if it means coming ahead of Yuvi who is in terrible form with the bat atm. But will he be bold enough to come at any of those positions rather than sending the likes of Rohit or Jadeja who are prone to wasting deliveries at the top and making things difficult for the late order batsmen? :dontknow: PS: don't wanna buy this 'floater' crap. He's too good to be a floater in the shortest version. Will we accept floating with likes of Sach or Viru? don't think so! In the same vein MSD must have a settled slot at the top. As simple as that !! discuusss :--D

ideally at no.5 after raina and yuvraj but he should not repeat what he did in last t20 cup coming himself at no3 in one match and other match sending raina at no.3

according to situation i.e.if we lose a wicket in first 5 overs,then at 3,otherwise at 5.Raina should be at 3 in that case

Wherever he bats, he needs to bat freely and aggressively. The days when he goes out to bat with a attacking mindset, normally he does well and the makes the opposition pay. We would love to see Dhoni the aggressor do well in t20s. For someone with his hitting caliber, a strike rate of 100 odd in t20s doesnt look good at all.

#4 should be the position where he should slot himself (old saying that in limited overs cricket, the guys in form should bat in the top 4), then ofc it depends up on the situation and playing 11

Shock and awe batsman- Yousuf Pathan should be the floater... Too much floating around will jinx Dhoni's mojo..let him bat towards the end where he can shepherd us home even if the other end is held up by tail-enders

No. 3. Raina at no 3 wont be a good choice as it would mean we'l have three left handers in top 4. Also, Dhoni can stay at one end allowing others to play aggresively. Definitely at 3 if Gambhir goes early.
