The semester starts tomorrow and I havent watched any of these movies. I was busy watching Heroes Season 3 since season 4 starts on Sep 21.

Ram Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Watched Halloween 2 AND Inglorious Basterds over the weekend. Must say both were disappointing. Halloween 2 has just reinforced my opinion that off late, Hollowood’s version of a Horror movie is just to show lot of blood and gore, as opposed to the nerve-tingling sensation of fear that we are used to experiencing in Horror movies of past. For the most part, Hallo’ is littered with scenes of Michael Myers mercilessly killing adult males by a) slitting their throat and ripping apart their head or b)mercilessly killing naked females by either cutting them open with knives or slamming their heads on the wall and leaving their naked, blood stained bodies on the floor. I cannot possibly imagine how this qualifies as ‘Horror’. In fact, I cannot recollect a SINGLE scene from the entire movie that made my hair stand on its end in fear/anticipation. Rather than grouping such gore-filled movies under the genre ‘Horror’, I honestly do think Hollywood create a separate genre called ‘Gore/disgust’, because that is what these movies seem mostly about. I went in with a lot of expectations over ‘Ingloriou..’, especially because the trailer made it seem as though the movie is full of actions sequences related to the ambush of Nazi soliders in France by the allied troops. The real deal was far from it. Unlike most other Hollywood creations, the movie never comes to ‘life’, but to be fair, you can never point out to any part of it and say ‘it was boring’. If given a chance to go back in time, I’d rather not watch BOTH of these movies.

Two friends will murder their third friend and will invite other pals to a party almost immediately afterwards just for the cheap thrills.one of the guy will be cold ruthless and calm while other is very tense.the ruthless one will inentionally invite stewart because as a very discerning and sharp intellectual, he is very challenging for him! just as he predicted, stewart will be the only one sensing something was very wrong and will start digging. kandaswamy-(tamil)-third rate trash.what is the tamil industry coming into.so much rubbish in the last year. with kamal and mani rathnam leaving sooner or later , i fear what the future will be Thank you for your recommendation.
