Zap_Brannigan Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Gone baby Gone - Best movie you have never heard off...directed by ben affleck Sad and depressing movie though
diegovegaz Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Yeah very good, but I like eternal sunshine of the spotless mind better than FDOS. i saw it after reading your post its a little difficult to understand at first, and on the boring side
kabira Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 watched Living Proof. Very nice movie. Talks about Herceptin discovery and what Dennis Slamon went thru. Worth a watch
Laaloo Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Watched Delhi 6 - really liked it though talking to others I seem to be an exception. I have no idea why I waited so long to watch this movie. The only reason I initially watched this movie was because of the songs. It was a pretty good movie. I enjoyed it. Not the usual crap bollywood trashes out every other week. Good to see Abhishek doing some serious movies recently.
Guest Hiten. Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Watched Delhi 6 - really liked it though talking to others I seem to be an exception. Yep, it's a fantastic movie. It's on par with RDB for me.
ZodiaC Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Yeah' date=' I know. Dialogs in some of the scenes were not o good. Imtiaz Ali was very new those days. But apart from some of those obvious weaknesses, I think it was a very sweet love story. I loved the story and best of all, the characterizations.[/quote'] Yeah, was a nice movie other than that. :--D I didn't like Snatch.Turned it off mid way ..will try watching it later. Right now watching Sopranos again. :two_thumbs_up: Turned out Snatch :omg: Can't say coz I have a taste for brit comedy. Loved it :cantstop:
ZodiaC Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 i saw it after reading your post its a little difficult to understand at first, and on the boring side Oh was it :hmmm: While 300 days of Summer was fresh, it was more of a popcorn flick, I felt.
ZodiaC Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Yep' date=' it's a fantastic movie. It's on par with RDB for me.[/quote'] Tis underrated for sure. Abhishek's acting and his character seemed fake IMO, as in trying hard to be the cool dude from Amreeka :--D Swades is one movie I like in that regard, realistic and touching.
kabira Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Anyone watch Worlds Fastest Indian. I loved it. I missed first 15-20 mins, I am going to download and watch it again.
Zap_Brannigan Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Zombieland Easy A Adventureland All 3 pretty good comedy movies and i now have a slight crush on Emma stone
Sachinism Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 The Town - Pretty good film, watched the extended version, but didn't feel like it dragged on.
flamy Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Stay - 6/10 Not original, hence the "twist" never came for me.
kabira Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Fas Gaya Obama. Very nice movie. worth watching once. 8/10
youngindia Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 fantomas- a legendary master criminal character in french comics created way back in the 1900's.there have been short stories and films made on this character. There was a series in the 1960's starring superstar jean marais and the greatest french comedian, louis de funes on fantomas.i was lucky enough to watch it during my childhooddays because one of my relatives were based in france. its a james bond spoof film that is said to have inspired the pink panther series.but i feel this series is of better quality than peter seller's ever was. highly recommended for those who don't mind 60's classics- fantomas trilogy 1964,1965,1967 jean reno is starring in the new series that will be released either this year or next.
The Dark Horse Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Watched The king of comedy(1982), great acting by De Niro :hatsoff: I was thinking he could do only mafia films:giggle:
