Have watched all four. The Ring was a phatte movie. The Exorcist (original) was classic. Didn't like BWP. And LTROI was okay. Thanks for the suggestions. :two_thumbs_up: :two_thumbs_up:
I knew you would have watched all four..that's why I didn't recommend any in the first place. When I first watched Blair Witch Project, my friend told me that it was all real. Phir meri phat gayi.. :hehe:

tgidi, dk and others suggestions for good horror movies? and comedies like hangover? I think I've watched almost all watchable movies in these genres, but still.
I think Hollywood makes a mess of these two genres. Gore is often mistaken for horror and vulgarity for comedy. Unfortunately, int works in their market and hence they dont try to get any better.

Splice - 10/10 OMG! What a fabulous movie! Super Sci-Fi and I applaud the director for not pussying out and taking the story where it always was destined to go. Awesome!

Tron Legacy: Disappointing. For a movie with a budget of 250+ million dollars, it's very disappointing. And given that it's Disney, I really expected a lot more. CGI is superb. Visuals are mind blowing. The story is very weak, the pace is slow and the movie lacks soul and strong characters. The sci-fi plot is full of loopholes, leaves dozens of questions unanswered and progresses very conveniently. It's almost like the director has taken it for granted that good CGI is all the audience needs. We sci-fi fans love CGI and nice visuals, but we also need something of substance. We like logic. And we are also spoiled by great movies like the Batman begins and the dark knight. Now we demand a soul in the movie. Now we demand some depth in the story. Now we demand well defined characters. Tron legacy has none of this.

^ Good post DK. Let me add a couple sci-fi movies which have everything one would want and were ground breaking movies for the concept, special effects, story and philiosophy. The Matrix Alien Blade Runner 2001: A Space Odyssey
