I haven't seen any of the ones you've mentioned. Shahenshah was horrible. One minute he's dressed like a cop and immediately the next second he changes into a moving can opener with a rope around his arm and a tufts of white hair??? What was that? Where did he carry that suit? What if he wanted to scratch his back?
:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: But yeah, Shahensha was a terrible movie. Story, acting, characters, direction, everything was as bad as it could be. Big B has done some terrible movies.

The thing with Big B is that even when he does these seemingly retarded movies, he stands out. He has the ability to make a completely ordinary movie interesting. Basically, there are three phases to his career: 1) Angry young man phase: During this time, anything he did, regardless of content was applauded by our junta. From his debut till about mid 80s. Even ( what I think) were very average stories, like Sholay, Muqaddar ka Sikandar & Zanjeer became huge hits. Surprisingly he did a few non action roles also which I liked a lot : Milli, Anand & Silsila 2) The :WTF: am I acting in phase. from end of phase 1 to around 2000. This was the time he acted in some of the most retarded movies of his career. Shahenshah, Coolie, Toofan, Agneepath etc. All these movies were plain stupid. 3) The old man with the French beard phase: From 2000 till now. I think he's done some good role in this phase. Especially in Black, The last Lear and Sarkar. But he's done so many repititive father of SRK type roles in this period too.

Yeah, I fully agree that BigB made huge difference to some otherwise very ordinary movies. A prime example I think is Sharabi. The whole movie rested on two pillars- BigB's performance and dialogs. I disagree on Agneepath though. I think the story and the direction in Agneepath was strong and Mithun delivered a once in a lifetime performance. The dialogs were good and some scenes were outstanding. Most other movies like Toofan and Jadugar etc were unbearable in spite of BigB. I disagree with you on Sholay. AB was not the only good part of Sholay. IMO that was a classic and a landmark movie in Hindi film history. It was the perfect masala movie with a good balanced dose of comedy, emotions, drama, action, dialogs, romance and anything else one might expect in a masala movie. To top it all, the direction was superb, dialogs are still repeated after so many years, characters became legends (even dhanno has become a known character) and scenes are being used in comedy shows and parodies.

shahenshaw was flop  u got good gk dude
if it was flop, how come it did business worth 10 crore. In 1988 thats surely qualifies for a hit movie. It was AB comback movie after his failed attempt to politics....it was overhyped, and even though movie was not great. it definitely made money to producers

Big Bs worst movies are Lal Badshah' date=' Khuda Gawah, Toofaan, Ganga Jamuna Saraswat, Ajooba, Jaadugar, RGV ki Aag :hehe: and Shehenshah[/quote'] You should see Boom, that's the worst piece of trash made since quite some time. Shehenshah, its a masala movie, i don't think the 80s crowd were expecting story/acting when they watched it.

did no one watch hereafter? "unstoppable" was better than what i expected from other people's review when it comes to drama. "middle men" was fine...about the beginning of credit card validations on web because many males want to watch porn but have to pay for it without being embarassed in front of family.. still have "mechanic","the way back" to finish. ps- iwow, didn't know this till now..but from wiki, i find that " " the way back" is loosely based on the "long walk" about a group of polish pirsoners escpaing from a siberian gulag to india.i used to read a reader's digest collection about the great escapes(which also includes the "great escape" movie based on stalag luft) in my school days.

for those who saw social network, the first scene set the tone with rooney mara (as erica albright) showing mark zuckerburg the door. now a fake one has found a way to cash in on the "erica albright" mania and there are plenty of obsessed fools who oblige her! http://www.ericaalbright.com/ i liked rooney mara's pleasant face but why the hell are these guys and even some girls obsessed with a mysterious movie character ! another piece of trivia... the "kick" song in inception was by a very famous legendary singer. the song and singer please!

music and lyrics - drew was cute the austin power series - the 3rd one starts off on a high note, and pretty much the funniest; could work out very well if it's full-on action with tom cruise as powers, hahahaha
