Laaloo Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Valkyrie. Brilliant movie :two_thumbs_up: Will watch it tonight!
fineleg Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Will watch it tonight! SachFan, How was Valkyrie? BTW _ Any word on Ravana? Aishwarya usually keeps personal life under warp specially when it comes to hubby Abhishek. But now that she is married to Abhishek for more than a year long, she finds no hiccup to reveal the fact the she and Abhi was dating for few months back before they were engaged in January 2007. Their engagement and marriage was framed as it was a sudden happening but the truth is not exactly the same and Ash by herself divulges that she and Abhi were in love from sometime back before the media could spot them together and highlight their love affair before their marriage. It is said that their love story blossomed on the set of Bunty and Babli where she performed Kajra Re with her father-in-law and husband. Ash starred with Abhi in many flicks and presently they are shooting in the deep jungle of Kochi for Mani Ratnam's Ravana in high security so that not a single footage of the film gets leaked out to the media. Currently, Ash is looking to her new Hollywood release Pink Panther 2. Speaking about the movie, she said, "I loved Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau in the Pink Panther series when I was a kid and watched these films. It was hilarious, a laugh riot and a thorough family entertainer. People across different age groups love The Pink Panther because the films always bring a smile to one's face."
Desi Cartman Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I saw first half of dil kabbadi .... stupid movie -37/10
f.b.m Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 but its not a classic that will absorb me for long after watching as memento did. but rarely any indian movie does.(kamal's anbe sivam(tamil) was the last one with vettaiyadu villayadu close by) Anbe Sivam was good. What do you think about Kannathil Muthamital? btw, Just watched a documentary called "Born Into Brothels". Very deppressing in more than one way.
graphic23 Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I'll be the odd one out and say that I also liked Virumandi - of course, its in a different league from Anbe Sivam. But still, one of his best performances has been Sagara Sangamam (Salangai Oli for the Tamil folks). Swathi Muthyam was also amazing - he had actually remarked that if he had to act like that again, it would be impossible for him to do so.
fineleg Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 How is "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna"(2006)? slightly old movie now. But any review from those of you who have seen it?
