Roshanrocks Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Dont mislead people. Pak & Ind will not meet in super 8's no matter what really? :hmmm: ye naa- insaafi hai :hitler:

Roshanrocks Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Mon May 10 13:30 GMT | 09:30 local 09:30 EDT | 08:30 CDT | 06:30 PDT 21st Match - TBC v TBC (A1 v C1) Beausejour Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia If Pakis win, then they'll be A1 and India with the win today are C1. satyam1729 Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Mon May 10 13:30 GMT | 09:30 local 09:30 EDT | 08:30 CDT | 06:30 PDT 21st Match - TBC v TBC (A1 v C1) Beausejour Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia If Pakis win, then they'll be A1 and India with the win today are C1. How hard is it to figure that out? India is C2 already. India are through to the Super 8 stage with the comprehensive win and will qualify as C 2. So no IND-PAK match in Super 8
UmarAkmal Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 really? :hmmm: ye naa- insaafi hai :hitler: No na insafi. All super 8's opponents are already known so people so fans know the teams when they bought the tickets. Pak,SA,NZ & SL are in one group while Ind,Aus,WI & Eng in other super 8 group.
mastana Posted May 2, 2010 Author Posted May 2, 2010 Mon May 10 13:30 GMT | 09:30 local 09:30 EDT | 08:30 CDT | 06:30 PDT 21st Match - TBC v TBC (A1 v C1) Beausejour Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia If Pakis win, then they'll be A1 and India with the win today are C1. How hard is it to figure that out? He has no confidence in his own team. Looks like a Bangali supporter to me. :hehe:
patriot Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Pakistan must win today for a Super 8 clash with India ..I saw C1 vs A1. This is apparently the final Super 8 match for both the teams. How nice it would be to kick them out by winning this tie. :cantstop:
putrevus Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 Mon May 10 13:30 GMT | 09:30 local 09:30 EDT | 08:30 CDT | 06:30 PDT 21st Match - TBC v TBC (A1 v C1) Beausejour Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia If Pakis win, then they'll be A1 and India with the win today are C1. How hard is it to figure that out? india will be c2 only even though they have most wins in group so it better for india if pakistan to win today and hope bangladesh knock out aussies from the tournament with a win.
Roshanrocks Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 India is C2 already. India are through to the Super 8 stage with the comprehensive win and will qualify as C 2. So no IND-PAK match in Super 8 shouldnt india be C1 ?
mastana Posted May 2, 2010 Author Posted May 2, 2010 india will be c2 only even though they have most wins in group so it better for india if pakistan to wins today and hope bangladesh knock out aussies from the tournament with a win. :wall: :wall: yeh kaisa logic hai
UmarAkmal Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 shouldnt india be C1 ? They should be since they won both games but ICC already decided the seeds of teams before the WC started. Just read the rules of the format & stop asking stupid questions.
ludhianvi Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 The top two seeded teams are allocated slots in the Super Eight stage regardless of where they finish in their group. The Super Eight stage is not determined on winners and runners-up. For example, Pakistan are designated A1 and Bangladesh A2 in their group. If they both qualify then, regardless of who wins the group, Pakistan will go into Group E and Bangladesh Group F. If, however, Australia qualifies instead of, say, Bangladesh, they will take their designation as A2 and move into Group F. This has been done so that supporters who buy Super Eight tickets can be assured of knowing who they will be watching - assuming their team qualifies! http://www.cricinfo.com/world-twenty20-2010/content/page/412884.html So Pakistan is A1 whereas India is C2 regardless of the results here
