There should be no D/L used in T20. There, new rule written that is fair to everyone. Its takes only a bit more than an hour for the remaining 15 overs, so the game should go on if possible. If not, then points are shared.

You are not doing a very good job of it.
havent watched a single game live or bothered to check score. and see how infrequently i have visited ICF since the whole IPL nonsense began... and shall visit just as rarely till this new form of horse manure is snuffed out (for atleast a few months till IPL 4 or whatever begins).

The problem for me with the method was that windies were allowed to try for the target with 10 wickets in hand! Surely there should've been a reduction in the total number of wickets that England needed to take?

i dont know if changing Duckworth-lewis would help making 191 in the first innings, what do you want to the team batting second to do after it rains, score 100 in 5 overs?? the problem is with the 5 over format may be they should increase it to 8 or even 10 overs

It is a game that lasts just three hours, I dont se why it cant be replayed. ICC can easily be prepared for such contingencies and replay the game.

seems like 8 overs or replaying the whole game are two options they should consider instead the random 5 overs pulled out of someone's behind.

However, when asked if he accepted that a recalibration was required to reflect the higher tempo of Twenty20 cricket, Duckworth was emphatic in his rebuttal. "No I don't, quite frankly," he told Cricinfo's Switch Hit podcast. "Remember that there have been a total of about 70 matches decided by Duckworth-Lewis since Twenty20 was invented in 2002, and there's only been two instances where any dissent has been expressed, and both of those were by Paul Collingwood and the England team, as a result of failing to win against West Indies.

So we are deciding the outcome of a cricket match by observing a 6 over innings? My boycott of T20 shall continue.
Whaddaya want? This is tontee tontee, where men are men and actually the men are all fairies. In cricketing terms.

If there are signs of rain and you win the toss bat second. If you lose the toss and are asked to bat first, hand a walkover and go home.
