Jadoo Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 It depends which Tait shows up, if he isn't in the rhythm he will spary it around, he is quite inconsistent in that regard.
Sid Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 tait is a match winner on his day for his team and for opposition on another day.i hope its another day today.
someone Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 tait is a match winner on his day for his team and for opposition on another day.i hope its another day today. This stupid to underestimate or laugh at others based on 1-2 matches. And given how you have started this topic, it really would not surprise me if tait does otherwise:((
Bradman99 Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Don't forget Tait was the 2nd leading wicket taker at the one day world cup a few years back which Australia won, he is a good bowler when he gets some form going. Underestimating him is not a wise thing to do.
rkt.india Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 exactly wt i was saying..maybe he did not perform well in IPL but this is different..he is playing for his country not for RR here.
achilles Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 More than Yuvi, I'd like to see how Raina does against the short and 90MPH balls from Tait.
vvvslaxman Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 We already ended Tait once at Perth. Again we have to do? :--D Remember how padosis were salivating at the prospect of Tait, Lee, Johnson against India at Perth and had eggs all over their face.

If tait has a mental breakdown then i think we will come out tops :)

If tait has a mental breakdown then i think we will come out tops :)[/quote'] Based on my following about Tait's career this guy is far too erratic to be really considered as a threat in any format. May be on a good day on a lively pitch he could have his way. But i am 10 times more scared of Doug Bollinger who is not playing. Overall i never rate this guy Tait who depends purely on pace. He might outgun us. But i won't really go gaga over him as he is a potential match loser on his day as much as a winner.
Jadoo Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Yeah definately, I would be much more worried about Bollinger rather than Tait who lacks consistency. Also, he looks like someone who get ruffled quite eaily if he has been hit for a couple boundries.
achilles Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 I hope we end up with eggs on our face so that for once, Chennai Super India and its ambassador Kris "Ya Ya" Srikkanth become a part of history, the same history which I as a Mumbaiite am not proud of, coz Kris and his Chennai agenda are the old wine in the new bottle and nothing different from what used to happen when Mumbai boys were being preference over the likes of the South players. Whether this is the end of Tait or not, I hope the "Don't ask me questions about selections for the WT20s" regime is gone.
Zelig Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 Come to think of it, he would have had a difficult time at school coping with the taunts "Here comes Tit", "There he is, Tit" and wat not. If that doesn make him mentally strong..what will?

achilles Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 nah' date=' just the end of Raina.[/quote'] Post of the century :hatsoff:
riya Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 when we start such arrogant threads, this is bound to happen.
