lets look at the S8 teams again: - Aus 2 wins in R2 + 1 win (Pak) in R1 = 3 wins* (semis) - Eng 3 wins in R2 + o wins in R1 = 3 wins (semis) - SL 2 wins in R2 + o wins in R1 = 2 wins (undecided) - WI 1 win in R2 + 1 win in R1 (Eng) = 2 wins* (undecided) - NZ 1 win in R2 + 1 win in R1 (SL) = 2 wins (out) - Ind o win in R2 + 1 win in R1 (SA) = 1 win (out) - Pak 1 win in R2 + o win in R1 = 1 win (semis) - SA 1 win in R2 + o win in R1 = 1 win (out) what a joke, this system is! :P Should have allowed to carry points from R1 (Ind's grp had 3 R1 grp winners!), esp when the teams go to R2 based on their pre tourney seeding and not based on whether they won the grp ..... or had two grps of 6 teams each with no S8.
