The ODI barrage is just pointless though.[/quote'] Seriously. I dont know whats the purpose of playing these useless tri series. Asia cup is fine but why the tri series in Sri Lanka. We are 8 months away from the world cup and the BCCI wants to ensure the players have no energy left to play by the time WC comes. Asia cup in July, ODIs vs Aus ,NZ and SA and then perhaps after the SA series a prepatatory series vs any of the top sides (preferably Eng/WI) would be the ideal preparation for the ODI WC.

We will just have to wait our turn in the queue. Nex year India will visit England :aha:
