putrevus Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 Aussies whenever they lose these days they chalk up to rebuilding and say we have inexperienced bowlers.They did when they lost to Indians in 2008 test series also. But When they win like they did in champions Trophy they boost on how great their domestic structure is and how it produces great players. How can you have both ways. The Indian team which lost today to srilanka is far less experienced to Aussie team and yet nobody chalks that to inexperience but blames Indian team's ineptitude.

Clarke Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 I find it silly to criticize the top teams on every defeat, whatever excuse they might provide. Its a testament to both teams (Australia in particular for odis) that they have set such high expectations but come on, give them a break.

He was India's most underrated player at that time and people have forgotten him.

Serani Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Every team should give a similar excuse when they lose, its called "Weiners model of attribution" in sports psychology, basically if you win you praise yourself and stuff you can control and when you lose blame stuff out of your control that can easily be fixed and change next time. Most professional sports teams act this way.

For the first time aussies looking no match to poms in any department and as I wrote in the title I see a white wash for the aussies and I dont how we manage to lose the series against pretty much same aussie eleven And also England lookin the real deal for the next world cup ,wat a outfit it has become

Serani Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 England are for the first time not being pussy's when it comes to one day cricket, under Fletcher we used to nudge our way to 40 off 10 overs and then try and not lose wickets. It was such an outdated way to play. Now England are attack minded and have quality players. And yes England seem to be much superior to Aus, look at their bowling attack, wtf is McKay doing.
