Agree...Bhajji only thrives on helpful surfaces but he is not good on unhelpful surfaces. Swann is more intelligent bowler than Bhajji.

The other is Mitchell Johnson. There has been no 10-for this year:yikes: Swann and Stu Broad finished with nine wickets each. Hauritz's five wicket haul is his first in FIRST CLASS cricket.

Alas..If only stats could tell the entire story!.. Shakib has played only against WI-B team , so his stats are irrelevant. We have spinners with better average in our domestic circuit, does that mean they are better than Swann?:haha:

He is so much in the classical spinners' mould, attacking the batsmen with flight, guile and a little bit of turn. In these days, when most spinners are pummeled to submission by increasingly attacking batsmen, its such a refreshing change to see a spinner return the favor. England owe much of their recent successes to Swann. He saved the first test with his gritty/attacking batting in the 1st innings. Now, he has won the second test for them with his bowling. You couldnt ask for more from a player.
