Graeme Swann- Best spinner in World cricket in all formats right now?

Graeme swann - Is he the best spinner of this year? He has taken 60 wickets in 14 matches in one year. He has been very consistent this year and performed well against Aussies, Indians, Caribbeans and Saffers. With Murali and Bhajji's not upto the mark performance, I must say he is the best spinner of this year.

its a fact that bhajji had to suffer through more flat pitches than swann.out of the 6 test matches he has played this year,2 of them(napier and ahmedabad) were very flat.

No bhaji is. Played less tests and played on less helpful tacks. Despite that average and strike rate comparable. We have the best spinner of the year. p.s don't forget guys, as many do. Bhaji is actually INDIAN!

I don't think Swann bowled on minefields to get his wickets. Bhajji had other pitches where he could pick up lot of wickets like the first test in NZ. Even when England faced India in India, Swann bowled better than Bhajji. Swann doesn't have variations like Bhajji. But he is an old fashioned offie with drift, turn, accuracy. Bhajji spent half the time darting outside the leg stump. He had his moments this year. Overall nothing great.

I am little surprised to see that we have played only 6 tests in 2009 as opposed to Australia's 13, England's 14. Even Pakistan has played 9 tests, 3 more than us. before SA test scheduled, I'd heard that only 5 tests are scheduled for India in 2010. so now it must be 7 tests.This is really annoying.
