It has clearly faced more than its fair share of problems. @ Beetle... you make some very valid points. However I'm sure we have lost sympathy for the lady after this "report".

Obviously she did not abort before because she wanted to have the child. Most probably during the delivery, coupled by the fact that she was alone, unmarried and on a plane(the last part is one which stresses many people) might have have caused her to lose perspective. And it has nothing to do with her being a medical student. It affects 80% of women and some seriously and impairs their judgement A: She's a medical student or a supposedly medical student so she should be fully aware of the hormonal change, depression and all the side effects related to carrying a child for 9 months. She should be aware of the vitamin deficiency and all other medical symptoms and if that is the case...boarding an international flight at full term pregnancy is nothing short of NEGLIGENCE B: If she has been a victim of a crime ie: Rape ... it really doesn't make sense of her to keep the baby and bring the baby back home on a plane to a society where such things are frowned upon severely....unless off course her reason of flying thousands of miles is purely to abort the child in India after being unable to do so in the host country C: If she with all good conscience chose to give birth to the baby and be a single mom led her to fly across the world risking the baby and herself then she doesn't deserve to be a mother especially after giving birth in the plane and then leaving the child behind to fend for itself is as inhumane as those psychopath mothers who kill their own child claiming to see devil in them or spoken to by God. D: If she is a pro life person, she ahould have given birth and put the baby up for adoption instead of trying to dump the baby like a garbage. That sorta stuff could be expected from clinically depressed women who had 2 or 3 kids and has been thru psych treatment not a 19-20 yr old with full conscience and a medical degree. She needs to go to jail for attempting to commit a murder.

I wish things were like you people think they should be. But the reality is that every day there are people killing their children for talking/loving/ eloping wth people their culture doesn't approve of , whatever the hell that is. This girl has just learnt to do the cultural thing. Kill a defenceless baby like millions are killed in this country by their own family.

Kill a defenceless baby like millions are killed in this country by their own family.[/quote'] Therein lies the frustration; we hope education would help us minimize if not eradicate problems such as casteism, intolerance, bigotry etc. When u have a prospective doctor perform such an act, it shakes the very foundation on which our hopes survive.

I havent seen you debunk his link in any way. Is there a news report that you have read that says that the baby fell into the toilet mistakenly/accidentally like you implied? So far in this thread, desi cartman has provided with the links from good sources to prove that what we have been talking about while you have made up stories. You still go on to call him and me names. How long is it going to take me to say something like "I will suck on to his links because it reminds me off sucking your momma".
