Andy Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 I didnt watch the Aus-Ind series of 04-05 so I dont really know. Maybe they got lucky. India outplayed england at trent bridge and england outplayed india at Lords' date=' a draw would have been a fair result.[/quote'] If you do not have enough knowledge about Indian Cricket why do you bother to post on Indian Forum about Indian test team? Ok i agree India were Outplayed by England at Lords and India outplayed them at trentbridge. Now what were pommies doing at Oval? They were outplayed by India. Had it not been Bad light stopping play on the 3rd day We would have won the series 2-0. Now stop whining.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 If you do not have enough knowledge about Indian Cricket why do you bother to post on Indian Forum about Indian test team? Just want to emphasize this for all the other ******s who may feel tempted to throw in their two cents of **** on this thread.
The Outsider Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Whenever two evenly matched teams meet, toss is always a factor. It's stupid to discard results because of the toss factor. Between India-Australia encounters no team has been able to beat the other after losing the toss since Adelaide and Melbourne 2003. That's a run of 13 test matches. I suppose they should be stricken off the record books. What lunacy!

I have watched all of your teams home tests since England toured in 06, in fact I have watched all game that have been on sky sports which is most of them. I can probably recall any test match involving india in the last 3 years.

And still you bother posting **** about India.:hysterical:
King Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Either way the world just doesn't come to an end. Sri Lanka at home are a terrific team. Not for nothing they have a fantastic record including against India. India will struggle to win this series from here, the best they can hope for is to draw the series. Even drawing a series is a big deal for India. Only the Aussies of the early 2000 have done exceedingly well in Sri Lanka. South Africa has been dismal in Sri Lanka as well.

Andy Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Yes im sure everyone on this site has been watching cricket since India first started playing. Atleast you should folow 10 years of Indian cricket before making BS posts.
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 You should rather be asking when did Pak play their last Home series..you dont get to play even at home man. So chill. Wow I seem to touched a nerve. Now you`ve gone on the attack instead of answering a simple and innocent question :cantstop:
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Guys I`m curious but will anyone please bother to tell me when India last played outside the Sub continent? The person I originally asked this question side stepped magnificently
Andy Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Guys I`m curious but will anyone please bother to tell me when India last played outside the Sub continent? The person I originally asked this question side stepped magnificently Nz in 2009
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 ^Thanks for answering Andy :). At last someone gave me a sane answer
Zelig Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Guys I`m curious but will anyone please bother to tell me when India last played outside the Sub continent? The person I originally asked this question side stepped magnificently When did Pakistan last play at home(real home)? :hmmm:
saneindian Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Guys I`m curious but will anyone please bother to tell me when India last played outside the Sub continent? The person I originally asked this question side stepped magnificently NZ in Feb- Mar 2009. And then next series outside SC will be the SA series, then there is a 4 test series in Eng and 4 test series in WI post 2011 WC before a 4 test series in Australia towadns end of 2011. Besides, we are the only teamto have played 6 tests in SL (the toughest place to tour nowadays). Wonder what the whining about us being home bullies or playin more at home is all about.
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Feb-March 2009 :omg: You haven`t played a match outside since a year and a half? I understand teams play most of their games at home but this is unbelievable.
saneindian Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Feb-March 2009 :omg: You haven`t played a match outside since a year and a half? I understand teams play most of their games at home but this is unbelievable. Don't worry. In that period all we have played is a test series at home vs SL and one vs BD in BD. The other series we played in (vs SA), was planned to be just a 5 match ODI series, but was split into a 2 test and 3-ODIs series
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 ^That`s fair I guess. Thanks for the clarification
Lord Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Feb-March 2009 :omg: You haven`t played a match outside since a year and a half? I understand teams play most of their games at home but this is unbelievable. we did play BD in BD.We just hvent played outside subcontinent.Aussies hvent played in subcontinent since they toured us in 2008,but i uess thats alright n acceptable
saneindian Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 BTW in last 5 years, India have played nearly 60% of all their tests outside home!! Below is the list of teams and number of away tests in last 5 years. Pakistan - 21 out of 36 ~ 58% India - 30 out of 53 ~57% WI- 23 out of 42 ~ 55% Sri Lanka - 21 out of 42 ~50% SA - 24 out of 50 ~ 48% England - 30 out of 64 ~ 47% Australia - 26 out of 57 ~ 46% NZ- 16 out of 37 ~ 43% Aah the irony that we play mostly at home!! Pakistan have played the same % of matches away (without playing much at home) as India has!!
