King Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Pakistan lacks quality openers and middle order. Too much swapping just doesn't give the team a settled look. Despite the results if Pakistan sticks to the current team they will do well. I can see Pakistan bringing back two Y's if they lose this series. That will counter work as the younger ones may have been putting a lot of effort but they will be shafted for two blokes that may not even be practicing at the moment. I quite like to see both Y's play but that for Pakistan will be one step forward and two steps backward. I guess if Younis Khan can bat at the top you can do away with Farath. If Pakistan does bring back two Y's then they will at least have to play the younger ones consistently in the ODI format and ease them into test cricket. It's hard on the younger ones to bat at no.3 and no.4 in demanding conditions. I have a strong feeling Pakistan will win the current test match unless Ponting and Hussey put up a brilliant show.
Ranjha Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 words of the wise man: pakistan cannot win this..it will take a new world order or something more weird for something liek this to happen.
coffee_rules Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 I think so too. Congratulations Pakistan!!!! Dill Dill Pickle!! I mean Pakistan.
Jadoo Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Pakistan will easily win this now, only way they can screw up from here is if they allow the Oz tail to wag and muster 120 odd run lead, which will be difficult for Pak to chase.
bear23 Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Pakistan will win this test match as the australian bowing attack is toothless
Rajiv Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Well' date=' if Pakistan doesn't win, they can always ask Hilary Clinton Why India wins against Australia but Pakistan doesn't and can she give them a win.[/quote'] :cantstop::cantstop: Your comments are just classic man
Rajiv Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 1 things is for sure, Pak bowling is better on these pitches
Guest Hiten. Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 1 things is for sure' date=' Pak bowling is better on these pitches[/quote'] Even our bowlers would look like world beaters if we were to play on these pitches, but nothing to take away from Pak in this test match particularly especially after Afridi's p*ssy-show in the last test their youngsters have stepped up and shown the seniors how its done.
ludhianvi Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 Well played Pakistan, after the first match, the way they dismissed Australia for less than 100 was remarkable even if the bowling conditions were friendly. After all, it was Ponting who won the toss and elected to bat. I dont see Pakistan losing from here. Congrats, Meanwhile Ponting the captain, still waits to win a Test series in England
suraj Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 There is no way Pakistan can lose this one- even by law of averages they cannot screw up something so close to victory
