Rajan Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 u wont know how tough it is , to sit at home, not switching on TV, checking cricinfo/rediff only once before lunch, only once after lunch, keeping fingers crossed and praying to God... wow, one of the happiest days in my life.
Sachinism Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Good to see there are more optimistic people in here..it makes me sick reading the negativity some posters vommit all the time.. So damn true. Good job Ticz
sangrock Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 This is champion stuff!! Fucck all the haters who said we do not deserve to be number 1 and a big eff to Mahela' date=' hope he STFU from here on and i am sure he will think twice before opening his mouth again about India :yay:B->:two_thumbs_up:[/quote'] LMAO! very true..
f.b.m Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 India are champions...champions are India. All we need is to get through the 35 over mark without losing more than Ishant and this match is ours. Good call..
gaurav92 Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Ticz Bhai, Kamaal kar diya :hatsoff: Hum Duniya ki sabse behtereen team hain, is baat ka ehsaas saari duniya ko kara diya. :yay:
cowboysfan Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Tics is the man,i really thought it was curtains after viru and dravid got out cheaply.hats off to Laxman, what a memorable knock under pressure.
gaurav92 Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 The negative energy one thinks, is not actually a negative energy, its what i may call it a "Jinx".They jinx the other team by praising them and along with that, :hehe:ing at our own team, with an intention, that is equally positive about us :D. I pray that India should win, but i post, Its SL game and India can't win it, thats a Jinx, but when once we win, we post our feelings and emotions of happiness and love and passion for our country because we feel proud to be Indians and we feel very good when we win :). Well sometimes, Jinx works, its a superstion that somebody follows and tries to bring in good luck to the team in which ever way he thinks will do the trick. So no harm intended by anyone in posting negativity, but someone who does that on purpose, without a real intention of making our team win...... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :thefinger:
King Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Good on you guys that trusted India will win. Let me admit I wasn't one of them. I thought SL will dust up the test match well before tea but am I surprised. I should have know why India is rated no.1 right now.... Oh well I don't care I got it right. I'm no expert and am bloody glad India won. I don't mind India losing ODI series', Twenty20 series' and other triangular or Asia cup or champions trophy but test series loss I find it hard to bare. I'm glad India won the test, drew the series and dominated the last test match. I would love to be wrong every time I feel India is going to lose. Good work lads and oh Ticz.... Very glad. Shame I didn't have time to watch it tonight :((
King Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Oh BTW Tendulkar seems to have got a grip on how to turn a game in the 4th inning, hats off to Tendulkar and the ever dependable Laxy. Just hoping "The Wall" is able to hit a purple patch too and there will be no stopping India. Still miss Anil in the line up though :((
Cricketics Posted August 7, 2010 Author Posted August 7, 2010 Still miss Anil in the line up though :(( O that will be a long wait RAVI. Anil kUMBLE took a while himself to become the deadly wickettaking ANIL KUMBLE himself. We will need to bare the amount of changes which will continue to happen. It's hard to find someone that special or even close.
Deleted_User_1 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Oh BTW Tendulkar seems to have got a grip on how to turn a game in the 4th inning, hats off to Tendulkar and the ever dependable Laxy. Just hoping "The Wall" is able to hit a purple patch too and there will be no stopping India. Still miss Anil in the line up though :(( I sure hope this stupid myth that SRT does not contribute to Indian wins is put to rest. He has had numerous contributions to Indian wins since England tour of 2007. When Ishant got out it was 62/4 (not good) and when SRT got out at 171/5 we had half a step through the door. This is no way knocking VVS, his performance won the match for sure, but the SRT detractors (i.e. Pakis and some Aussies) better not call him a choker ever again!!
Tendulkar_Bhai Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 there is no way in hell we are winning this' date='this is over.we will go through the motions tomorrow.[/quote'] Pardon??? I think we had a great chance at lunch, but blew it away.its 50 runs too many
