Great Track ???/ Are you serious ? See it can be called a result oriented track, but one can even make a result oriented track which finishes the game in three days with Green tops, or rank turners Like Wankhede, Kanpur tracks. In fact i barely found ball carrying through to the wicket keeper on a consistent basis, yes one odd ball carried, but on the whole it was not a Day One track, it looked a day 3-4 track to me.These tracks can give you results, but these wont give even contest.I think the track if it had a little more bounce would have been much more intresting, as bounce is loved by both the batsman and bowler.

You guys are such muppets. Why does a good pitch have to have bounce and carry. Brainwashed by aussies. The beauty of pitches is DIVERSITY. A good pitch can have pace and bounce. It can also be slow with not much bounce. All different pitches test different techniques both for bowlers and batsman.

King Tendulkar - forget bounce and carry. Does it have spin? Does it help the bowlers? Does it even help the batsmen? Actually it is helping nobody. All that is going on right now is a patience game. Yes, Test cricket is a patience game; but still... If the Aussies had bowled fuller at Sehwag and attempted some swing, he could not have scored as freely as he did. Just the nature of this wicket.

Even with the new ball yesterday, there wasn't much swing on offer, they tried to bowl full, but Veeru scored freely.Today there was some early moisture, and there was some movement for Hilfenhaus

When we bat all tracks look flat as a pancake, especially when the greatest batsman the planet has ever seen is batting. More evidence of a form of self loathing

Dont bury everything cricketing as a form of self loathing! You seem to be in a huge hurry to do that with any criticism that is directed towards the Indian team. The pitch was flat when the Aussies batted as well. Who said any different?!

Indeed! The track surprised me after the first 2 days. Although it has to be said that there still was no wear on the wicket. A little bit of inconsistent bounce and regaining of some pace helped it. At the end of it all - it helped get a result. Cannot complain about that.

Another great track in Bengalaru. Definite result here. Turn on day 1, SUPERB.:two_thumbs_up: Makes a great change to see turn on day 1. Totally different to mohali track which produced the thriller in Mohali! Much better then boring tracks seen this summer in england were all tracks were same, seamimg and swinging from day 1 were any tom dick and harry seamer caused havoc! Special compliments to the curators Excellent cricketing pitches This is what I call test cricket - great battle between bat and ball! Reverse swing for the pacers, turn and bounce for the bowlers, but at the same time not a graveyard for batsmen. :hatsoff:
