Till then see how many matches Dhoni have won. After that, we have lost to Saffers and Lanka. Check Stats of Irfan since Dhoni took over till the NZ series. You'll exactly know what am talking about.

Ganguly brought a passion for Indian Cricket never seen before just ask steve waugh, so he still edges Dhoni As India's Best Captain at this point If i am correct , he used to be criticized for his behaviour on the field.Ask andrew flintoff.

He was never Test Quality. Dhoni has Inform Zak and had Inform Ishant for most part of his tenure. Ganguly was tactically miles ahead of Dhoni, no comparision, unless dhoni improves himself.
