Guest Gunner Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I was moved by Zulqarnain Haider's defiance of the English yesterday. The support provided by the two youngsters Ajmal and Amir was no less inspiring. This is really what test cricket is all about, trench warfare. Just for the guts shown by haider I hope Pakistan can win this game, he deserves it. Good Luck poyzzzz!! If any of you seriously have well wishes towards the poyz then post here dont unnecessarily ruin the thread with inane crap. Everyone who does so will most likely get an infraction.
Lord Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 so u want people to post only if they agree with u? oops.infraction coming:nervous:
Nova Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 A positive thread about Pakistan's effort. I commend the thread starter :D Yes, Haider played a fighting innings. There is something to cheer for the Pak fans and lovers of test cricket who want to see some competitive innings. Good luck to the poyz...although I still would like another England win :winky:
Guest Gunner Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 so u want people to post only if they agree with u? oops.infraction coming:nervous: No, I just dont want people ruining it with political discussions, Ghazni missiles et al. Have I broken it down for you in simple terms now?
EnterTheVoid Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 Me too. I seriously hope Pakistan wins. My reasons for wanting to see them win are different to those of the OP but I really hope Pakistan wins and put the cocky English back in their place.
DomainK Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I dont mind who wins as long as we get to watch some more competitive cricket. But we have to thank Zulqarnain for singlehandedly making a match out of what was on it's way to be another innings defeat for Pakistan.
Guest sachin200 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I am also gonna pray for PAK win but i know they not gonna lose :giggle:
asterix Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 YEs, great effort by Pak youngsters. They played with lots of guts especially when English players were indulging in all those nasty sledging and Broad throwing his toys out...
kabira Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 do they deserve to win?? I don't think so. Getting all out under 100 and then dropping lollypops, they simply do not deserve to win.

But we have to thank Zulqarnain for singlehandedly making a match out of what was on it's way to be another innings defeat for Pakistan. Yeh Haider played very well, they grinded it out and then as the English bowlers become tired and frustrated, they punished them Not really bothered who wins (though I've been backing England) looking forward to an interesting day of cricket
Guest Gunner Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 do they deserve to win?? I don't think so. Getting all out under 100 and then dropping lollypops' date=' they simply do not deserve to win.[/quote'] Look, the point is they made a great comeback through those kids after making a horrendous start. There is no "deserving" to win, its either you win or you lose. This is exactly the same kind of crap people say about India "deserving" to be No.1. Its a sport, you either win or you lose thats it.
SachDan Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 do they deserve to win?? I don't think so. Getting all out under 100 and then dropping lollypops' date=' they simply do not deserve to win.[/quote'] :dito: Anyways I just can't stand a paki win, so good luck Poms!
ZodiaC Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 All the best to poyzz. We need more matches like these B-> Will be an exciting day of cricket for sure. And oh, well played Zoni :congrats:
