Herculus Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Do you think Hrithik Roshan is the Christian Bale of Bollywood ? Christian Bale is the intense actor of movies like Batman Begins,The Dark Knight & American Psycho. The Guardian named Bale as one of the best actors never to have received an Academy Award nomination. And Hrithik is our very own superhero Krrish, emperor Akbar and intense actor like Koi... Mil Gaya's Rohit or Dhoom 2's Aryan.Roshan received his third Filmfare Award for Best Actor in 2006 for his performance in the action film Dhoom 2. He later received critical acclaim for his performance in Jodhaa Akbar, for which he received his first international award at the Golden Minbar International Film Festival and also Filmfare Best Actor for the 4th time. Their figures, looks , height and acting skills are very similiar. Theres alot of similiarity between KMG's Rohit and Bale's performance as Bobby in All The Little Animals (see the movie if you don't know)
Andy Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Joke of Bollywood. No acting nothing, only try to make a movie hit is by his over the top stunts and dancing. This lad needs to know at the end of the day you are an actor.
Herculus Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 I agree that he was a not that good initially when he made films like Yaadein,MDK But since KMG he has matured as an actor and since then given tremendous performances in films like Lakshya,Jodhaa Akbar & Dhoom 2. If theres anyone in Bolly who can match Bale its Hrithik alone.
flamy Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Dude, you are forgetting Saif Ali Khan, Vivek Oberoi and Abhay Deol. Hrithik won't even get close in terms of acting

cowboysfan Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 i like abhay deol of the current lot,he atleast picks his roles a bit judiciously.
triam Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 maybe keanu reeves (getting away with good looks)
Online Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 i like abhay deol of the current lot' date='he atleast picks his roles a bit judiciously.[/quote'] that's what I used to think until I saw Aisha :headshake::antijinx:
THX_1138 Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Nein... save for rare glimpses of brilliance from Aamir Khan, none of the contemporaries are actors half as intense as Bale. or even more, Bana... he is an incredible actor.

Hrithik has 4 already and also 2 more for best debut and critics. Theres alot of similiarity between KMG's Rohit and Bale's performance as Bobby in All The Little Animals see the movie if you don't know and you will find alot of sim btwn them. SAK,VO,AD can never ever give performances like KMG's Rohit or Akbar.

SRK has got the most filmfare awards .. will you say he is the best actor ever produced in India :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Hrithik is a good actor but he is nowhere near to a perfectionist. Viviek and Saif are overhyped actor too. Om Puri, Anumpam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah are better than most of these actors Hritik included.
b555 Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 that's what I used to think until I saw Aisha :headshake::antijinx: he wa sthe only one who actually was `acting` in aisha rest all was BS

SRK or anyone in Bollywood do not have the greek god looks of Hrithik or a superb body like Hrithik. Combining everything no one can match Hrithik.
punjabi_khota Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Talking about leading roles, I would say Amir Khan, Ajay Devgan, and Abhay Deol are the best ones around.
achilles Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 Christian Bale is the Hrithik Roshan of Hollywood. I don't understand this business of constantly equating ourselves to Hollywood and their "stars". Do they equate themselves with us? No. About time we grow a spinal cord and stop comparing our stars to the West.
