Lara c. Mongia b. Srinath in 1996 world cup. Ball pitched on middle-leg and left Lara. Till date, it is not sure if he nicked it or not. Lara says he didn't. It was too good a delivery not to fetch a wicket, anyway.

Lara didn't walk that day. It was a clear indication that he didn't nick it. Boy what a relief it was to see Lara getting out cheaply those days against us!

Also RP Singhs spell at Trent Bridget recently but only cos it was recent. Also remember Tendulkar's ball to Moan Khan and even Afridi i think..?

Two come to mind. One is truly memorable, the other is best-forgotten but cannot be: (1) Kapil Dev to Qasim Omar - 1985 WCC - the best yorker I have seen bowled by an Indian bowler. (2) Chetan Sharma to Javed Miandad - Sharjah - ugh!! I must say, however, that Harbhajan's recent heroics against the Paks did mitigate some of the pain.
