Rajan Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Simon Katich is the best equipped aussie batsman to perform in india. He has a very good temperament.has the knack of scoring runs unobtrusively.plays well with in himself.does not mind playing out tough overs and respects good deliveries.he has some very strong scoring areas and is my pick for the highest run scorer among the aussies in the 2 tests series. Dravid has not done well in his last 3 tests but he would be the fulcrum of our batting this series.he is picking up his form from the champions League. he has what it takes to handle the aussie bowlers in indian conditions.he is a class player who would deliver this time. who are your picks?
Fontaine Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Katich is a likely candidate. He really plays the offstump line extremely well and has the temprament to last a long innings once he's well set. I think the kind of form Tendulkar is in, it's hard to pick anyone else to be the leading run scorer. I'll add Laxman as another player who should be up there.
achilles Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag from the Indian team. Ben Hilfenhaus and Nathan Hauritz from the Australian team.

Lord Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Anybody but Dravid, hes not in great touch n has been doing poorly especially against Aussies since 2004
Dinx - the Jinx Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 please remember that this is just a 2 test series... sehwag's can put one big score in one innings and single digit in other 3, yet the others may not surpass it in 4 innings put together... i hope that one big innings comes at blore.. cos he has score big centuries or match turning knocks in the last 2 test matches that i watched in stadium (where he played too)
gaurav92 Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 VVS against Aussie is a treat to watch. But i still feel Goddy will be the top scorer.
coffee_rules Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Dravid will score one good looking 40 in 4 innings. Sehwag will score 1 100 and 1 50 Tendulkar and Laxman will score a 1 100 Gambhir will score a 50. Raina will score a 100.
