rohitsilhi
dhoni has the big natural talent as the wicket keeper, because he is very fast and flexible and agile like a billi. But this man make too much money, and wicket keep is toughest job in cricket and there is less motivation for dhoni to show his true outstanding skill with keeping. Especially since aaj kal, every player is picked as the batsmen first and then the wicket keeper. Pure wicket keeper like alan knott, rod marsh and the jack russel do not exist anymore. Instead we have the gilchrist, sagakarra and kamran akmal. Becos of the new trend, dhoni survives. Link to comment
nballa
hello everybody, i am very very warm welcome here. this is my first post! just wanted to say that MS Dhoni is not play very well for past 1 year in odi. He alway comes up the order when batting easy on flat trak, but stays down when batting on mushquil trak. He is good captain for test but average captain in odi. He misses many chance in wicket keeping. He also does not play the match winning game. But for indian man to be captain, the performance always go down. It is better thing, that performance of bad batsmen go down and not performance of star batsman (viru, tendulkar, yuvi, gambhir). the number 1 rule of trolling - don't make it so obvious you jackwagon. maniac
Dhoni's contribution to the team...Brings in diplomacy, How many captains yell or discipline their own teammates for being aggressive.Dhoni is not a captain but a great diplomat. Reminds us of the various gentleman captains we have had in the 90's or Post dada-era. He is so honest that he walks when umpire doesn't even make a desicion, He shows common sense as more often than not he bats to bring respectability to the team total and improves his average as a captain should have good stats. He is a sensitive and encourages the less gifted like Jadeja,Tiwary, etc as you should not be rude to the youngsters of this country and shatter their dreams by telling them the truth that they don't belong at the highest level. But one advise to Dhoni,Since,he has all the pull he needs in India ....get into politics and be a part of external affairs rather than being captain of a competitive sports team. Link to comment
