People are freaking sensitve in India. They get hurt by little comments. On same day if Tendulkar scores 50 with one of the other batsman in the team scoring crucial 40 runs to win the game. Somehow people start trash talkingf about that match winning knock in order to put Tendulkar knock ahead. Thats how people are in India. They don't watch that much cricket. All they know is a player's name here there and come out easily talking trash about a player.

Interesting how no one has even attempted to properly read what he said about Kumar and Steyn.
My strength is swing but I want to bowl fast. With a speed in 130s you can play for India but you cannot be a star. I want to be a role model for other bowlers. People don't think that 'I should be like Praveen Kumar'. They always aim to be someone like Dale Steyn. So that is my aim too. I want bowl 140+ consistently.

Yes, so all he is saying is that to be a superstar, someone who people try to idolize, you should bowl at 140kph. That is probably a fair enough thing to say (I disagree, but still) which does not insult Kumar at all, unless there is misunderstanding.

No.. It is an insult. He will when someone else says "I don't want to be like Deepak chahar i want to be someone like Morkel"

How do you actually go about increasing your speed? Do the coaches modify your action? That is a good question actually. We do a lot of fitness exercises and work out in the gym to strengthen our upper body. The coaches will constantly monitor our action and the run up. I do it myself. I have a speed gun at home. I keep checking that to know about my progress. All these little things help a lot in increasing the speed.
I think it is not impossible. It is all about how much one wants to do it. If likes of Finn, Broad, Ishant, Ryan Harris can do it why not Chahar. They all started bowling 130Kat 18-19 years of age. It is all about determination if he really wants to do it and is ready to put hard yards in the nets and at the gym and stay patient because he is not going to gain pace overnight. It is process which will take time, continuous improvements for 6 months to 2 years. He is only 19 and he is only going to get stronger. The only thing he needs to take care of is keep his basics intact like his run up, action, and strong wrist position and fine tune them.
