India vs Bangladesh...nervous

How many of us are really nervous about India against Bangladesh in the world cup league game. India is always a nervous starter especially against minnows in worldcups In 1983/1987 worlcup against Zzimbabwe they had a few hiccups,1996 against Kenya wasn't the most dominant victory,2003 against Namibia was not very convincing and the worst-Bangladesh in 2007 still hurts. Bangles have done really well recently and our ODI squad tbh does not look like world beaters at the moment with the exception of Sachin and to some extent Raina...Viru has been average in ODI's recently...Dhoni has not been a match winner and our ODI bowling is pathetic. Not to forget Yuvraj and Gambhir's lackluster form in recent times. India may not be a clear favouraite this worldcup so I'll take any performance but I would love to see us thrash the bangles. I cannot take another loss that too to bang boyzzz...they will not go to far in the tournament anyway and their forums will explode with the most ridiculous analysis.....

Hope that happens but when your mind is filled with so much revenge you tend to be a bit nervous and anxious. I just can't wait for the bangles to get their communpence but it's our history dealing with minnows is scary...Not to forget the recent loss to Zimboks

Ah...The rats are out of their holes:winky:...Dude I give you guys due that you have upped your game recently...My only concern is that In a worldcup we have a burdern of expectations and hence we are susceptible to nerves where as you have no expectations so you have the liberty to go all guns blazing because any win is a bonus anyways. Mirpur or Jaipur on a normal day we wouldn't care about a Bang game, but it is just a concern that our boys will be having 2007 on their mind

They will give us a good fight , but we will prevail. This time the team will be ready for them as they have been ever since that WC disaster. Last 7 matches after the 2007 WC have all been one sided matches with India winning easily. Won't be any different this time either.
