maniac Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 3-2 is easy now??? You beat a 2nd string Pakistan side 3-2 in home conditions If Amir+Butt+Asif+YK was playing then i can tell you it would be 5-0 to Pak Edit: Umpires You paid the umpires yet you still only won 3-2 What was Butt's average in the test series against Eng??? Asif is useless in ODI's.So technically missing one player chal in your case 2 players makes you a 2nd string side???? You have some high opinions on your team buddy.
ensd2 Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Final India vs SL semi : india SL , SA , Eng auusie gonna gets eliminated in Quater final , their team is quite over -rated : you can't remplace Warne , Gilchrist , Hayden , Mcgrat , Symonds
vvvslaxman Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 So many people under-estimating Pakistan When you have players like Afridi,Razzaq,Umar Akmal,Kamran Akmal and match winners like Shoaib Akhtar and Umar Gul in your side They can lose to any side in the world on their day correction
girishk14 Posted November 13, 2010 Author Posted November 13, 2010 I dont c england even making it to quarterfinals, on these sub continental conditions. Their pacers wont be of much use here, and they dont have any big hitter or match winning batsmen.......even Zimb has batsmen that can really take games away....I dont c the kiewsetters, cooks, collingwoods and trotts being able to do that
ShahidAfridi Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 What was Butt's average in the test series against Eng??? Butt is a ODI player and he is 1st choice and he performed amazing vs Aus in tests and without captaincy he would of done better with the bat. Asif in English conditions is lethal so he would of been picked/Akhtar rested Amir is sensational and Strauss would of been ripped to shreds by him ala Test series
Bradman99 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Without knowing the draw or whatever.. The 4 teams I would expect in the semis are SA,Ind,Aus and Eng/Sri
ringo16 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 There is all some dramatic losses, and NZ usually make the semis! Aus-NZ-India-Sri Lanka.
Sachin=GOD Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 India, South Africa, England, Sri Lanka for the semi finals. India and Sri Lanka for the final.
jf1gp_1 Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 So many people under-estimating Pakistan When you have players like Afridi,Razzaq,Umar Akmal,Kamran Akmal and match winners like Shoaib Akhtar and Umar Gul in your side They can beat any side in the world on their day this is the exact reason why noone rates pakistan my 4 SF - India , ENg, Aus , SL with Eng vs SL/Ind final
jibranpatel15 Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 WC 2011 is more dependent on luck of a team rather than better team. What i mean is only 1 player can take a team to semi on his day and likewise some other player from that team into Final and some other can win for a team as after group stages its quarter final time like: Ranks after group stages Group A: 1. Sri Lanka 2. Australia 3. Pakistan 4. NZ Group B: 1.India 2.SA 3.England 4.WI/Ban So quarter finals will be (from above positions) like this: QF-1 SRI VS WI/BAN QF-2 AUS VS ENG QF-3 PAK VS SA QF-4 NZ VS IND IF what i think that team wins the semis will be as: SF-1 SRI VS IND SF-2 ENG VS SA And Final will be I think: SA VS SL HOPEFULLY SOUTH AFRICA WILL BE WORLD CHAMPIONS GO WIN IT SOUTH AFRICA GO
Son of Pakistan Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 quarter finalist pakistan, srilanka, southafrica, australia, england, newzealand, westindies and bangladesh semifinalist pakistan, srilanka, southafrica, england, finalist pakistan, england Pakistan will win the worldcup

Cricket lover Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Good poll. My opinion Semi Finalists: Ind, Eng, S.L, Pak Finalists: S.L, Ind
philcric Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 *** Bold prediction alert *** Ind, Pak, SL & Ban in Semis. I really think its possible for all 4 asian teams to reach semis ('coz of the conditions and also the form of the teams). I'm pretty sure WI,NZ,Eng don't have a decent chance. SA, Aus have good teams but not ideal for sub-con,, i feel they'll be knocked out in the quarters.
thongale Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 Semis: ENG, SAF, SL, IND Finals: ENG vs SL
spectre Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 SL is a very strong contender. But this WC is more of a lottery, whichever team plays best in 3 consecutive knockout matches will lift the cup. In the present moment, no team is so consistent, I want the curators to make spinning tracks so that we have an advantage as our batsman should handle it well
girishk14 Posted December 12, 2010 Author Posted December 12, 2010 IMO, regardless of other teams, SL and IND are confirmed semi finalists. Both plays most of their matches at home, and are ususally unbeaten at home.
