found an article which says about Rahul Shukla RAHUL SHUKLA The 19-year-old is built like an ox.That is probably because he grew up tilling his farm alongside his father in his village near Jaunpur,UP.Now based in Jamshedpur,Shukla made an impressive start in domestic cricket last season for Jharkhand.In 2008,he was one of the 10-odd emerging seamers who were selected for a three-week training camp at the MRF Pace Foundation under Dennis Lillee.Last year,he was picked in the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) team for the Emerging PlayersTournament in Queensland.Not in the Mumbai Indianssquad of 15 for the Champions League,Shukla has been giving the batsmen some serious workout at the nets.He was spotted by Mumbai Indians director of coaching TA Sekhar during the regional selection trails organised by Gatorade Pacers in New Delhi a couple of years ago. I'm Dam eager to see him on TV. The other day somebody mentioned, maninder singh was complimenting him, saying he is another one who can cross 150kmph. From what i see, he can be pretty handy with the Bat too. Where the hell are you dude ? Play some games.... Though he is not 19 now, probably 21, this is an old article, if he was appreciated for these years, he is on the brink.

umesh yadav, varun aaron, and rahul shukla all are in wrong ranji teams. if they were in delhi, mumbai, karnataka, or tamilnadu, they would have been in Indian team by now.

i have seen some partial selection from these teams many a times. in 1996, doda ganesh and david johnson both from karnataka were picked for SA tour when gundappa vishvanath was the chief selector and johnson was selected for his pace according to selectors and the pace he used to bowl was not more than what PK bowls now and johnson used to bowl bouncers at 125KPH.:hysterical:

I saw David Johnson bowl during the 1996 Only test match vs Australia @ Feroz Shah Kotla. Mongia top scored in that game WITH 150 ODD. This dude Johnson used to run really fast. I think he fell once while bowling really really fast to Mark Waugh. And then he fell again. 2nd time I think he was trying to suggest that he got tripped somehow maybe through Umpire's leg. :))

If they come early and get bashed like Sudeep Tyagi did, they would not be considered for a very long time. I hope that this does not happen to them, i'm following cricket actively since the days of ankola, srinath, kapil and prabhakar. I know for sure this HAS GOT BE the time when we actually have QUICK bowlers of International Standards in our domestic circuit. Ishant, Varun, Umesh, Shukla, Nechim Ahmed, Pritam Das, the list goes on. There are some new faces coming through too. I have never seen so many bowlers at the same time in our domestic circuit who can cross 140-145 KMPH range. Agreed some of them might not be effective only by pace, but it's not even as such that we have pretty effective bowlers coming out and threatening international batsman with their military medium pace. So PACE IS THE NEED OF THE HOUR.

Tyagi was not bashed that badly..Mithun in his only ODI game and Vinay kumar have been bashed poorly than him. And Tyagi for me is a test bowler.
