fineleg Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 The best offspinner in Intl cricket currently (in Tests - Muralitharan still plays ODIs) :hatsoff: 5-fer at Adelaide to get England up 1-0 in Ashes
fineleg Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 Nah its defo Harbhajan. When India tour Eng, Bhajji vs G.Swann will be interesting.
Serani Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Yeh I reckon Bhajji might score a few more runs than Swann, will be pretty close though.
Clarke Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Bit annoying this, a thread after game one that calls him average followed by game two with this thread. How about everyone stick to the master thread on Swann ? just saying, although i agree he's a very good bowler.
EnterTheVoid Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 The bloke who wrote this placard at the ground yesterday got it right : :D
f.b.m Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Actually come to think of it, 'fineleg' could just be a set of algorithms that has managed to post 15 000 posts to date. Open a thread praising a phoren player who just played well. Say 'hatsoff' and then upload a few pictures of the player (dunno why this feature was installed). And then say/imply that our players can 'learn' something from them. And then, on every alternate day open a captain obvious thread saying something like 'Will my absolute lack of humour be a factor in the standup comedy showdown thing that this guy wants me to do?'. And not to leave the obvious bit, the whinging threads about our own players, the codes for which most of us are quite familiar with.
fineleg Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 Trying to be a smart aleck fbm :finger: U wanna say something abt Swann's bowling or if he is/is not the best offie currently, say so, else feel free to discuss whether S.Broad is gay or not in another thread of urs :finger:

yoda Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 can someone post a video clip of his wickets this innings?
f.b.m Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 But seriously, why the hell do you post random pictures of players? You're free to get pissed off and post a completely meaningless post saying "I'm free to post whatever I want. If you dont like it, fawk off..*smileys* ". Lets be honest, that wouldnt be a massive step down in quality.
ravishingravi Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Yup, he is a potential great. The best right now
CoverDrive Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Back to the point lets leave the arguments and accept he is a good bowler and he has won them a lot of matches esp. against Aussies. Spinner quality is making all the difference between the two sides int he Ashes. his bowling also reminds me of Ramesh Powar - classical offbreaks and less of the doosra nonsense.
diegovegaz Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 i believe he is definately the best spinner in international cricket, all forms he has flight, bounce, turn, and importantly, accuracy classic!!!!!
fineleg Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 Yes ravi, Coverdrive and diegovegaz. He looks like the best around in current circuit. fbm - if its the pics - just attribute it to different styles from diff posters. When I write some threads, I like putting in the players pic. Its not a totally random pic, but one that has the player that is being talked about. Anyway, I can understand if thats not your style of posting, each poster has their own. And no - I wont say fawk off for you asking a question, I'll answer the question as long as the question is asked politely. But you need to learn to be not rude as well when you post.
fineleg Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 Hatsoff? More like Chaddies off... Well, Swann deserves the accolades for the good bowling performance.

King Tendulkar Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Nah its defo Harbhajan. Finally a good post from you:two_thumbs_up: Swann will suffer at the hands of the galiticos. p.s when I saw the thread title I thought finey was going to be pimping Doherty
