maniac Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 I remember in 2009 T20 worldcup,when a player's profile would be shown,they would show them mentioning their favorite player... I tried to look on the net to see if anyone ever compiled that list but no luck, I can only recollect 2 Yuvraj Singh-Sachin Tendulkar Dwayne Bravo-Brian Lara I think a lot of players in our team said Sachin and similarly a lot of Pakistani's said Akram or Imran Khan...can you guys recollect more names.I know a similar profile introduction was done during the one-off T20 we played against aussies as well. Apart from that we know Sachin has mentioned that his favourite player is Lara and vice-versa...any other proven list????

So sachin would be his fav among indians as I remember him saying that he used to watch indias matches only to see sachin bat.More than half of India used to do that in the 90s...I remember how I would be the only one still clinging on to hope and watching the match when all my friends and my dad would get on with life once Sachin was out.
Cricketics Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Don Bradman's fav cricketer - SACHIN TENDULKAR
Sachin=GOD Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Don Bradman's fav cricketer - SACHIN TENDULKAR :two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up:
Nirvanam Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Don Bradman's fav cricketer - SACHIN TENDULKARNot sure about that one...but I remember the Don having very high regard for Sobers. IIRC, he said the best innings he ever saw was the 200 Sobers made against Aus in a RoW v/s Aus "Test" in the 70s.
