Whenever it is that he retires, India dont seem to have any replacement in vicinity (yep yep Che around the periphery somewhere). Already we are still replacing Ganguly :haha: (and havent found anyone worthwhile for #6) And - we are still suspect at opening partnership in tough conditions, so #3 becomes critical

let us test newcomers at open batting slot which is no6 then we will worry about retiring dravid unless he wants too. Aussies pushed out Steve Waugh ,Gilly and co and look where it has landed them. Youngsters like Raina can be given a chance even if they fail if they look at least competent but Raina looks like a guy who has no clue and don't think it will improve same like Yuvraj he is never a test batsman.

The Raina obsession is unfounded. He cannot be playing in the team with players like Pujara or even Vijay waiting for their chance. Even Rohit is a better test player than Suresh. Raina has a lot of work to do. Being a CSK player is not going to save his skin all the time.

A very significant milestone goes almost unnoticed because our batting collapse. We badly need The wall the board up the cracks in the 2nd innings though.

^so if batsman knows hw to play with soft hands and make sure those edges don't carry' date=' we should hnot cound those runs??[/quote'] its upto you but I tottaly consider it as lucky runs when you have 6 players standing in slip, gully region and you try to play this fancy shot.. but never mind, I dont blame you dont respect my views..Most Indian fans just blindly love their cricketing idols even though they are past their prime..just like the way Ganguly, Kapil dev stretched their career thanks to their fans...
