cowboysfan Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 if zak is out then we have no chance,we might as well play yadav.
Sooda Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Bose made a squad Im sure; but never got to play. Can someone actually be flown in? Not unless Zak is out for the series right? Itd be good if it was Praveen really, would be good to see him bowl here
Andy Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 So true! even if guys like him are selected, they are not given enough opportunities to unearth their talent :( couple of classic example from 90's.. Dreaded duo from Karnataka :hysterical::hysterical: Sorry brah i was a Kid in the 90's who are they BTW? :((

saneindian Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 No better time than now to get Ajit Agarkar back in the team. Won;t do worse than the other pacers.
SachDan Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Sorry brah i was a Kid in the 90's who are they BTW? :(( Dodda Ganesh and David Johnson. Both were part of our squad to SAF when we toured there in '96-97.
fineleg Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Dodda Ganesh and David Johnson. Both were part of our squad to SAF when we toured there in '96-97. And instead of burying all those horror memories and moving on to better times for Indian cricket, we now take Unadkat and Yadav :(( And worse --- there are not really many alternatives for good pacers in India :banghead:
hari504504 Posted December 18, 2010 Author Posted December 18, 2010 No better time than now to get Ajit Agarkar back in the team. Won;t do worse than the other pacers. Yep..I am inclined towards that kind of drastic measure as well. This is NOT a series to blood youngsters. Agarkar would be far more deadly on pitches with bounce and movement..(remember him running through the Aussies at Adelaide)..and he is as quick as the pracitcally quickest Indian currently -Ishant.
Nirvanam Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 It's a panic move to send in a new fellow but I believe Irfan would be a good choice
Nirvanam Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 ok. Actually I know how to bowl pace and also spin. I guarantee I can better Harbhajan and take more wickets than him if I send down 25 plus overs as he did on pitches that have some bounce and be more economical in the process. I could perhaps been flown in too and will be able to serve the dual duties of a pacer and a spinner. Wish someone sends me an SOS. :-)All talk in the air...come on dude he hasn't taken 350 Test wickets for nuts...he's still the best spinner in the country. And he's not so bad that a relative amateur can replace him
bhanu Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 i pick nehra cuz he is better den sreesanth and ishant and munaf and idk bout rp.
OriginalCopy Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 RP ... lefty for lefty ... he has experience ... has decent pace ... and such a sudden call may just ignite a fire in him, who knows.

hari504504 Posted December 18, 2010 Author Posted December 18, 2010 i pick nehra cuz he is better den sreesanth and ishant and munaf and idk bout rp. Read in one of the other threads that Nehra hasn;t played domestic cricket for a long time..... a definite no if that is the case...
bhanu Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Read in one of the other threads that Nehra hasn;t played domestic cricket for a long time..... a definite no if that is the case... domesti cricket is over rated
bhanu Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Zaheer asked Pujara, "Andar aa raha hai kya :cantstop:
Nirvanam Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 RP ... lefty for lefty ... he has experience ... has decent pace ... and such a sudden call may just ignite a fire in him' date=' who knows.[/quote']pace?????? he forgot to bowl above 129 since 2009 IPL
mastana Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Dodda Ganesh and David Johnson. Both were part of our squad to SAF when we toured there in '96-97. lol David Johnson who Azhar claimed to be the fastest bowler in the world. :hysterical: He used to run faster than the ball and still bowl at Prasad's pace. :hehe:
hari504504 Posted December 19, 2010 Author Posted December 19, 2010 lol David Johnson who Azhar claimed to be the fastest bowler in the world. Never heard of that one...
