ZodiaC Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Pragyan Ohja Agree. SA were demolished last time by Shakib when bangles toured SA if i'm right. Ojha is not in the class of Shakib but still he's miles ahead of Unadkat as a SLA :giggle:
vaibhav_delhi Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 How are india gonna get 20 wkts? Their batting lineup, esp the top 5, is fearsome. Indian bowling was far from penetrative in this match.
rkt.india Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 indian seamers were awful..they didnt bowl consistent good line and length...they must have got something they had bowled consistent in the stumps..
shailesh68 Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Munaf has been bowling well and certainly deserves a chance again in Tests. He performed very well in my opinion in the just concluded ODI against New Zealand, was perhaps the most economical bowler. Is also performing well currently for baroda. I am sure he can also bowl fast if he wants to but somebody should encourage him and back him, especially the capt. They should send him to SA to strengthen the bowling deptt.

But in Tests he will need to attack more and bowl attacking lines and unless he can bowl at 140 he will struggle in Tests
Laaloo Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Ojha shouls play of Zaheer cannot at Durban?
gaurav92 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Munna is mercurial, but I would still back him to play. But I feel Zak will be up and running for the second Test
Arminder Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Ashish Nehra shld b d choice.. if zak is there, then also he shld be called

But in Tests he will need to attack more and bowl attacking lines and unless he can bowl at 140 he will struggle in Tests I agree that bowling in Test is different. But tell me which indian bowler consistently bowls at 140? Sree and Ishant were averagely bowling below 135 and lets not speak of Unadkat. Munaf will atleast bowl a good line and he has it in him to bowl fast, atleast 135, only problem with him is that he is lazy. This the Capt. should take it up with him.
Sachinism Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 Zaheer fit for Durban After the post-match presentation, Zaheer Khan bowled a spell on the same pitch that the Test was played on, along with Ishant Sharma. MS Dhoni confirmed that Zaheer was fit, and would play the second Test.
Sachin=GOD Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 I'd say even if Zak is fit, drop either Sree or Ishant or Bhajji and get in His Excellency Sir Ajit Agarkar - the Saffers would look at his face and they won't stop laughing........and we'll win the match :winky:
