woke up just now and saw the scorecard..........England 103/0.................and lead by 5 :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Aus all out for 98 - talk about being intimidated by 91000 people at the MCG :hehe:
Man, I woke up and saw the score board and it took me a few minutes to figure out what happened. A first innings lead of 59 runs at the end of day 1? When did that happen last?:hysterical::hysterical:

Congrats England on retaining the Ashes. :hatsoff: Aussies at their lowest ebb since the last time they lost to England at home - and this time they don't have anything like World Series Cricket, or rebel tours to blame for it. Surely they have to give Beer  a test in Sydney, just because. :--D :punter: probably has to go, but who do they replace him with? The best captain in the country right now (Cameron White) appears to have had his papers stamped as never to play Test cricket again.

Embarrasing really, completely humiliating. The game is practically over after the 1st day and all this in front of a 90000+ home crowd, this is a sign Aus have lost a lot..

Its been quite some time.... But Bradman99 - did you not expect such a result even in passing? Maybe not such a mauling but did you not expect that the English bowling might fare better than the Aussie one? I must say that I am not surprised at the way the Ashes is going on till now. What did surprise me was Johnson's burst in the 3rd Test.

got to say but the aussies are the worst bandwagon fans ever' date='they will drop their cricket like a hot potato if they are losing.[/quote'] Ha, India aren't much better.

Ha' date=' India aren't much better.[/quote'] Have to agree. On many occasions I have seen the crowd leaving the stadium or just silence.

Or if the game is really important' date=' BURN IT DOWN.[/quote'] Yes that was one very regrettable incident but I hope you are not stereotyping the Indian crowd as a whole. We are large in number, so there are bound to be a few numb nuts here and there. :winky:
