Who should Partner Sehwag , Vijay or Gambhir in the 3rd test?

Am sure Gambhir will be fir and be available for Selection for the 3rd test. Gambhir looked pathetic handling the Short ball in his short stay at the crease in the first innings of the First test. In the 2nd Inngs Gambhir gutted out and played really well in the 2nd Innings. On the Other Hand, Vijay didnt play as well as Gambhir in the 2nd test but we must not overlook the fact Vijay was playing on a Green track and he didnt looked Rattled by the Bouncers, Left them alone and handled them well. So who should India go for in the 3rd test, Gambhir or Vijay?

No brainer this, has to be Gambo. But Vijay does have some lucky charma bout him. Out of the 9 tests he has played, we have won 7 and lost 1! Unfortunately will have to make way for Gauti who hopefully has recovered from the swelling in his fingers.

If Gauti is even slightly unfit then it has to be Vijay. But Capetown can be absolutely flat. So it doesn't matter who bats there. Under seaming conditions Vijay survive better though. In both innings he shared a 40 plus partnership with Viru.

How is the pitch? If is as crazy as the last one, may be Vijay as he seem to be able to handle more deliveries. If it is easier to bat on may be Gambhir as he can easily put up a big score. Reading the other thread from Gunner, seems like a batting pitch. So Gambhir for sure if he is fit.
