Old guy Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Since the beginning the only point you have brought has been about the good looks of northie guys. To me it proves 1) You have no other achievement except that you were born a certain way (even that is a myth) 2) you are gay Yeah yeah find a mirror and cry
randomGuy Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 There are lots of differences between North Indians and South Indians. In fact' date=' the only similarity is they are Hindus hence became part of same nation after British rule but increasingly, that's also becoming a non factor as people stop putting too much importance on religion.[/quote'] my question is - whats your quintessential north indian and quint. south indian? Is your quint. north indian a UPwala, bihari, marathi, dilliwala, punjabi, oriya , bengali, or someone else? likewise for south indian? Ultimately in this age of literacy, digital tv, internet , globalization etc, we (pan-india) are gonna have a common culture and a common language similar to today's Hinglish .
CSK Fan Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 who would have guessed Dinesh Kartik is a south Indian? Murli Kartik speaks great Hindi. People from south India who speak or understand basic hindi are actually North Indians only. There's simply no difference. I can speak very fluent hindi

The only question is why should South India or other states pay for the BIMARU states and lag behind ? Why should people in South or other states suffer for the over population or extreme corruption in UP or Bihar and the fact that these states don't show any kind of progress and likely won't progress even in another 100 years. I feel South Indian states or other states can progress much better with much greater autonomy or becomes separate sovereign countries.
Yoda-esque Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Most southies can speak Hindi but Northies cannot speak any Southie language
Old guy Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I can speak very fluent hindi Let's stop trolling for a moment How did u learn it? I always wanted to ask South Indians why they learn Hindi? Is it taught in schools or Commonly spoken? I had to learn punjabi here but its similar to hindi while speaking so it was easy....

It's same way how learning English can lot of value to ur life compared to other languages.. Learning Hindi which is spoken by majority is better for person... Not all North Indians have hindi as first language do forget that..

Old guy Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Takes more effort for Southie to learn Northie language. How many of them have learned language spoken by minority? Like punjabi or anybothet language? It's simple case of Hindi being most popular language and there being big incentive of learning it.. Do u ask Americans to learn Hindi? Or look down upon them cos u have learned English but they haven't learned ur language?

SLICKR392 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Cool.. Is its common for people to know hindi where u live? Bangalore? Not fluently. Pretty much like how most people in North speak English. Not many in Kerala and TN speak Hindi. But 90% of people from Hyderabad are fluent.
