f.b.m Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 That was some knock. He came in when the ball was swinging and seaming around. Some brilliant patience and excellent batting with the tail to boot. Agreed that he is not the most exciting or elegant batsman but if an Indian batsman played an inning like this, we would have all turned into teenage girls in appreciation and swooning.
asterix Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Anybody can score well with little bit of luck and determination against the most pathetic bowling unit full of trundlers and a Dart/Lattu chucking spinner, currently in World Cricket..Not a big deal.. :headshake:
Nova Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Kallis ne kar diya Khallas. Well played King of Cape Town.
akshayxyz Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Huh,...clearly HTB(hundred track bully). Does well only where he scores hundreds...
littlemaster1982 Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 That was an incredible innings. Brought SA to a strong position almost singlehandedly
gaurav92 Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Huh,...clearly HTB(hundred track bully). Does well only where he scores hundreds... :giggle:
Texy Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 hope his rib pain keeps him from bowling and we can beat the living sh!t out of Harris and the Tso
virufan Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 No doubt that he is an all time great batsman. It is also safe to say he is an all time great allrounder. At this age he is still bowling at around 135 Kmph.
vvvslaxman Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 One more century to go past Punter. :giggle:
Sachinism Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Brilliant knock, I went to sleep after the 8th wicket and was stunned when I woke up
Manny_Pacquiao Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 yesterday was the most furious i have been in a long, long time. no way in hell should india have let SA score 362, they shouldn't have let SA reach lunch at 335/9 either. kallis batted brilliantly but india did a really lousy job of attacking the other end as kallis was rotating strike (what a selfish player lololol). Harris had a lot of crap thrown at him and survived 40 deliveries, tosstobe made it to almost 30 deliveries. absolute disgrace to let such *****y tailenders last this long. india should have had them wrapped up for just under 300, but they took it easy. my only gripe is that those 80 runs added by the last two partnerships might be the difference between india winning or losing
