by that logic Bhajji should've supported seamers by taking wickets on 1st day n helped them to bowl out SA for less conditions were in favour of Bhajji on 4th day,he should've run thru them.but once the ball got soft n Kallis reverse swept him he was clueless.3 of his 7 wickets wen tailenders were slogging him apart.so it isnt as if the greatest performance from him
that was the problems..pacers couldnt take many wickets on first day..they were rubbish mostly on the first..this was not a 232/4 conditions and pitch...if u think pacers bowled well on first day than you are wrong

The guy is running his mouth like a brainless buffoon again after taking a few wickets. Where was his bravado when he was supposed to be the leader of the attack against NZ and at Centurion in Zaheer's absence? Who could have done better then? Oh yeah, then it was this guy's turn to whine about pitches. Riding on the presence of Zaheer and the improved performance of the fast bowlers, he picked up a few wickets, albeit falling short of delivering the knockout punch when needed, and has started biting the very hands which fed his bowling by creating pressure on South Africa. First grow a pair, learn to lead the Indian attack when Zaheer is not there, then think about giving advice to others.
Bhai Saab...talking about NZ, we would have lost to lowly NZ if not for Bhajji. You should be thanking him. He saved us embarassment. With bat or bowl..you cant keep bhajji out.

dont argue with him...his thick brain will use any logic to blame bhajji. Yea a spinner on first day pitch in SA will get you a 5fer lol....go on

We would never have been in a position where we needed a number 8 to bail us out with the bat if he had bowled properly as the leader of an attack does and like Zaheer does. Yeah, he doused the fire he lighted up his own ass, I'll give you that.

Actually if you look at it HS is trying to deflect the total blame elsewhere when he himself had no clue after Kaiils started to attack him with the reverse sweep and slowly India started to lose the plot and eventually the match slipped away. Zk injury and hence the 120k or less trundlers, IS total ineptness and HS's middle inning woes all cost us in the end. So thanks HS but no thanks but we all also know you conceded 120 runs where runs were at a premium here when at point you had a figures of 4 for 10. Bottom line here at 130 for 6 if India could not finish off the innings at 200 or 220 it did not matter if SA ended up at 340 for 6 or 340 for 10.
So by that bottom line Tendulkars 100 in lost games dont matter either?

Their spinner didn't take 7 wickets either. Bhajji surely deserved appreciation but his haters are burning or in denial lol..... I am loving it.
Sad thing is Ranjha, u r probably right about haters burning or being in denial. Look at this guy, from his comments you'd probably think that bhaji killed his family members of something......LOL!

:omg: woh man, if this is the praise you give someone who get's 7-120, I'd hate to see you when someone actually performs badly.

You don't get it do you? Harbhajan is not any spinner. He is the most experienced Indian bowler and with the maximum number of wickets. Ideally, he should be the leader of the attack - stepping in to take crucial wickets, form bowling plans for other bowlers, be partially responsible to set fields. The role which Zaheer does now and Kumble did earlier. If he can't do it continuously, the least one can expect from him is to step in the absence of Zaheer. He is unable to do that either. You just have to look at the Indian bowling against NZ and at Centurion and then at Durban and Cape Town to see the difference Zaheer makes and how completely inept Harbhajan is when filling in for him. He did decently in this series to pick up tail end wickets consistently. A good, decent effort. Nothing to get all chuffed about and certainly not close to enough to publicly rebuke the fast bowlers who brought India back in the series.

Yes, out of all four bowlers selected it is purely Bhaji's responsibility to restrict NZ to a low total. This argument would make sense............if only India selected 9 batsmen, 1wk and 1 bowler (Bhaji).

Bhajji gave 50+ of these 232.didnt get one wicket in whole innings was pathetic at Centurion.now suddenly he picks some on helpful wickets n earns the right to have a go at his teammates

I have no time waste on someone who within the first few posts starts insinuating criticism of Harbhajan maybe because of his religion. So, you can also save yourself some time by not quoting my posts because you are not going to get any replies.

I do not think he took any particular name..i am in his favor because he is right our fast bowlers were pathetic in this test...u said he took a few wickets on helpful tracks...he took 15 wickets in this series...and our fast bowlers could even take wickets in helpful conditions in Capetown first day

Zaheer is in his prime form. He wasnt always that good. Only after his county season in England. Bhajji been through a tough year but he bowled beautifully in SA. and fast bowlers brough India back in series? Sure lol india lost first match when bhajji didnt bowl well...bhajji bowled well in other 2 games and results are there: and you can read this article for now for the durban test for which fast bowlers brough india back in series lolllllll zaheer was good no doubt but cant rule out bhajjis performance and in this test, zaks was missing. ------------------------------------------ Durban Test: Team India beats South Africa by 87 runs15 Comments Larger | Smaller Agencies Tags : India vs South Africa Test result, India vs SA, Durban Test result, score, MS Dhoni, Sreesanth, Zaheer Khan, Jacques Kallis Posted: Wed Dec 29 2010, 15:36 hrs Durban: China Wholesale Discount Shopping Cordless Headphone DiscussionBlogsEngland victory is t... - By A.M.Khan Award - By kumar Jai telangana - By Vijay Telengana - By Nanduri Formation of states - By D.S.Sharma Supremacy of judicia... - By M.V.Muthu Cbi...and..public..i... - By krishnarayan 'Irresponsible' Rakta charitraLearning Point Illumina at MDIDesi Food Galaxy MS Dhoni proved again today that the Indian team is no pushover and that it can stage an effective fightback and even chalk up wins despite being knocked out early in the South African series. Facing the prospect of batting on a green pitch, India's weakness against fast bowling was exposed by South African fast bowlers when they virtually killed off their first innings for just 205 runs. However, Indian pacers, while nowhere near their SA counterparts in terms of pure venomous pace, still extracted movement from the pitch and maintained a great line and length to destroy the South African innings for a humiliating 131, thereby setting up the the Test for victory. Harbhajan's stellar role in netting the prized wicket of Hashim Amla went a long way in destroying the SA morale in the first innings - Bhajji's figures read a magical 7.2 overs, 2 maidens, 10 runs and 4 wickets! In the second innings by SA he took 2 wickets, but he bowled 29 overs in all giving up a measly 79 runs in them. It should be remembered that South Africa was not chasing a big score and could be stopped only if an accurate bowler kept them on a leash. Turbanator did that and more. http://www.indianexpress.com/news/durban-test-team-india-beats-south-africa-by-87-runs/730760/ Top 4 batsmen in this innings were tail enders in this last test? lol

just tailenders hey, it was crucial performances by the south african tail that help them win their first ever test series in aus, so skittling some tailenders out for 4-10 was a big contributing factor to india winning in durban. Dale steyn made 70 odd at the MCG, just when aus looked like winning. Secondly, Bhaji did his best in centurion to lead the attack, he got both openers wickets, ish, sree and unadkat failed to back him up.....IN SEAMER FRIENDLY CONDITIONS! You expect harbhajan to be a leader of an attack in seamer friendly conditions? when u were younger, did u by any chance get upset at kapil dev for not winning the football world cup for india!:haha::haha::haha:

No, Harbhajan has not had a tough year. He has had a tough 5 years where he averages around 38. In other words he has more or less sucked for the last 5 years barring the odd performance here and there.

Yes, fast bowlers brought India back. Harbhajan did a decent job of picking up 4 tail end wickets at Durban out of his tally of 6. Good, decent effort to knock the tail out quickly. Nothing more than that.

Yeah, Paul Harris is now a top order batsman, is he? In the 2nd and 3rd test put together, Harbhajan took 5 top order wickets out of a total of 28 South African top order wickets which fell. A good, decent, long overdue effort. BTW, this thread is about the buffoon mouthing off on his fellow bowlers in case you did not notice.
